Nestled within the Black Hand Sandstone cliffs of the Hocking Hills, this lovingly restored 1935 rustic cabin offers visitors the ultimate in seclusion, peace, and relaxation. The spectacular views of the natural beauty that surrounds it are awe-inspiring, and includes a 80 foot tall waterfall!

Welcome to Zeisler Cabin. We hope you enjoy your stay and appreciate all of the natural beauty in the area. Most impressive is the waterfall which is approximately 80 ft. tall and consists of 5 separate tiers. This cabin was built in the 1930's by industrialist Charles G. Milburn, from the Columbus area, as a summer retreat for family and friends. Some of his friends were neighbors Fred and Bob Nichols who acquired the cabin property in the 1970's. Our family was able to purchase the cabin.

I genuinely don't think this experience could have gotten any better!

We eloped here. That being said, this is not a wedding venue and will not accommodate guests. During our stay Kurt and Shelly could not have shown us more hospitality or warmth. The scenery is light years beyond what you see in these photos. This history is magnificent, and this place can only be summed up as a secluded, fairytale cabin that could not be in the hands of kinder people. If you're considering, don't shortchange yourself, just book.

Only positive words for this place. The host was extremely friendly, gave a great tour, and made sure we had everything we needed. Most importantly, they respected our privacy during our stay. The cabin was one of the most beautiful and well-equipped cabins we've ever stayed in. The location is sublime. Even with all the luxurious amenities, we were able to unplug and truly connect with nature and ourselves. I can not recommend this place enough for any small group of close friends/family.

We had the most relaxing time at the cabin. This is our favorite rental by far, and we rent frequently.
