The Wellston Coal Festival is held the Tuesday thru Saturday after Labor Day on the downtown streets to celebrate Wellston's rich coal mining heritage. We offer a Karaoke Contest, Coal Miner Olympics, a Wednesday Hometown Parade and a Saturday Grand Parade, Baby and Toddler Contests, Car and Motorcycle Show, Pet Show, Line Dancing, Free Entertainment nightly, Rides, Games, Great Food and down home hospitality.
