You will follow forest covered, back roads until you reach our Pines Lodge that is nestled next to Sand Run Lake, 18,000+ acres of Wayne National Forest, and is situated on our 7-acre property with a private pond and a water wheel. Upon arrival, you are welcomed to beautiful views of the forest that will have you coming back for more. Being avid outdoor lovers, we hope you and your guests get to spend some quality time outdoors! Sip your morning coffee off the large deck overlooking the forest and listening to the nearby nature.

Spend the afternoon enjoying flamed grilled food from the grill. Partake in some catch and release fishing in the private pond on the lower portion of the property or at Sand Run Lake. Make sure you stroll over to Sand Run Lake Picnic area and wander into the forest filled with pine trees. If you have a hammock, we recommend bringing it so you can fall asleep amongst the trees.

There is a newly renovated gravel firepit with wooden benches and Adirondack chairs for you and your guests to create memories of a lifetime around the campfire. You can end your night by relaxing and unwinding in the warm hot tub. Before heading to bed, make sure you and your guests check out the beautiful starry night sky because that's not something you get to experience all the time.

You will be overwhelmed by the beauty and calmness of the forest and wildlife. Explore the property or the beautiful Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest region of Southeast Ohio. Maybe you will have a serendipitous encounter with nature that you will wish to experience time after time.

Guests will follow a long gravel driveway until they find themselves in the middle of the forest where they are welcomed to a beautiful, rustic 1800s log cabin with a wrap around porch. Upon entering the Montana Cabin, guests will feel an instant sense of charm, comfort, and peace.

The Montana Cabin was completely restored using reclaimed barn doors and patchwork quilt hardwood flooring that came from old churches, schoolhouses, and other older homes in the area. The hickory kitchen cabinets are filled with all the amenities needed for our guests to enjoy a scrumptious, home-cooked meal. There is a wood burning pot bellied stove that guests can use to warm up with during winter months while snuggling on the couch. Follow the wooden staircase to the cozy lofted area with two Queen-sized beds where the floors and A-frame ceiling are covered in the beautiful, restored hardwood flooring.

Step outside each morning for a morning coffee before the birds start chirping to hear the unearthly quietness of the forest. Throughout the day, explore the unknown at the nearby State Parks. Come back to enjoy some flamed grilled food.

The wrap around porch is pure bliss. There is a small fire pit around the back where our guests can enjoy time underneath stars around a crackling, warm flame. To end each evening, guests can relax and unwind in the circular hot tub that is tucked away on the corner of the wrap around porch.

The second living room offers a great space to cozy up next to the electric fireplace with your loved ones while having a movie marathon. Use the back French door to walk onto the spacious deck. The deck spans the length of the cabin making it great for outdoor entertainment. Our guests can enjoy large family cookouts, relax in the hot tub and stargaze, or head towards the yard to the newly renovated outdoor firepit with wooden benches, Adirondack chairs, and a swing to share stories around the campfire. The four-season room, that sits off the kitchen, is a great place for some peace and quiet – catch up on one of your favorite books or unwind with some local brews or wine! When staying here, guests will want to utilize one of the best features - the outdoor space. The back deck is spacious allowing our guests to enjoy cookouts, eat around the picnic table, take in the wonderful views, and relax in the hot tub. Upon arrival to the Eagle's Landing Cabin, guests will be greeted to a newly resided log cabin with a large, covered front porch. There are 4 spacious bedrooms that our guests can head to after a long day of hiking in the local area. There is a large yard and plenty of field space for your dog(s) to roam around. Our favorite feature of the cabin is the firepit and outdoor space. Guests can enjoy quality time underneath the beautiful Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest stars. The outdoor firepit gives our guests the opportunity to share memories, tell stories, and roast marshmallows around a crackling fire. The front porch and spacious yard allows our guests to enjoy flamed grilled food and play yard games. The hot tub is located under the covered porch so guests can utilize this anytime of the year.

Guests are welcomed by a beautifully manicured 7-acre property that is home to two additional cabins – the Eagle's Landing Cabin and the Cozy Cabin. Guests can rent all three cabins for large group getaways! Following the long driveway straight back will take our guests to our rustic Hawk's Nest Cabin nestled in the trees. Once inside, the cabin comes complete with everything our guests will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Guests can make a delicious homemade meal in the fully equipped kitchen. It was very peaceful and the views were amazing. The driveway was difficult bc the rain has created large divots and I had to drive somewhat off it. The floors could use a good vacuum and hand cleaning. The bathroom was clean and water pressure was great. Hot tub was clean and well maintained. Other than that I would stay here again. Great...

The location was great, the accommodations were set up nicely, there was plenty on site for the kids to stay entertained, and there was plenty of room to spread out. Thanks for the stay! We look forward to a future visit.

A great family get together home.
We loved the outdoor area (pool and fire pit). Only recommendations are the cleanliness and to update door fixtures so that doors can lock. The oven had so much food cooked on the bottom of it and every time we used the smoke alarms would go off. Otherwise it was a great spot!

We could not have been more pleased.
Accommodations were perfect for our group of 6 parents and six children. The kids stayed downstairs inthe room with 6 bunk beds..the bottom was full sized. We all enjoyed the pool, fishing in the pond, Old Mans cave and 5 mile canoe trip. A bonus was that the Tecumseh play was about 1 hour away. We hope to do a repeat next year.
