Our weekend getaway

This special getaway was for our Birthdays as my husband found this very nice, comfortable, well equipped and maintained cabin 3 1/2 hours from our home and would certainly recommend it and reserve it again. Chris was very informative of the area and Hocking Hills is a true nature area. Thank you Chris for sharing your cabin with all to enjoy.

Great Getaway

It was such a nice welcome to be greeted by Chris when we arrived at the Cardinal cabin. The cabin has all the amenities needed when you are escaping from the 'plugged in' world. The screened-in hot tub was heavenly after hiking all day! The location is serene and peaceful surrounded by trees on a dirt road. We highly recommend staying at the Bent Creek cabins.

We loved this cabin! Good seclusion with the screened-in back porch with blinds for privacy and was great to disconnect from the world for a few days. Chris was very nice and the recommendations for food and entertainment were helpful! Bed is comfy and has a good amount of amenities microwave, stove, fireplace, etc. Very Clean. Will definitely come back! Make sure to Mapquest directions from the cabin to Lake Hope Dining Lodge! Was tricky getting there with spotty reception but the food was definitely worth the trip!! Tip for future renters bring CDs or download songs for music Bring a few DVDs, they have a good collection there but does not cover all genres Only had 2 complaints/suggestions Bigger hot tub and maybe install a landline for emergency situations.

Chris Brenda, We returned this year the same weekend after Valentine's Day as last year, except we were in the Cardinal last year and Bluebird this year. Both were outstanding weekends! We love the location, cleanest cabins we have stayed at, and the attention to detail. I am sure we will be back again, thank you for offering your piece of God's creation for the weekend! -Ben Serena
