I loved the remote feeling of the house. The wrap-around porch was great! The outside table on the deck was great, though we did not use it because we were there in early spring and it was raining. The hot tub faces the woods and was wonderful. Early morning birdsong was an added delight on the porch.
The setting was so peaceful. As a nature lover, it was refreshing to only hear the birds.
Overall great weekend a away
This was a perfect woman�s retreat who love to hike! We loved the location and the fact that you can walk to Old Man�s Cave which was only 0.7 miles away from the cabin! No car needed! After the hike we loved using the Hot Tub to relax and wind down! The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to make our meals. The cabin was really nice! All 4 of us had our own bed. We all loved the architecture and the wrap around porch to listen to the birds in the woods!
Where do I start? The drive-in was beautiful, the cabin was beautiful, the cleanliness was awesome, the hot tub was sanitary, hot and awesome, the included amenities were everything one would need. We already made a pact with our family that we will be doing this on an annual basis moving forward. That should say all you need to know about our experience with the Hill, Lodging Company. It should be noted that we do not know anybody from this facility, and we are strictly 100% happy patrons.
Great location close to a lot of sites we wanted to visit
Cabin is very nice and private. Very central location to old man cave, cedar falls and ash cave.
The Star Ridge Cabin had everything we needed. The place was beautiful, cozy and very clean. We loved the hot tub, the fireplace and the kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We had such a good time hiking, relaxing, eating and just being together. Coming back next year!
Most beautiful cabin I've ever been too! Best vacation me and my little boy have ever had!
