Would recommend to anyone
I like the cozy feel of the cabin and being in the woods. It is pretty central for visiting all the spots in the hocking hills area. We had one issue with the WIFI, and they took care of it immediately. Easy to communicate with the booking agent.

Cozy & quiet cabin in the woods
Location was great! Close to trails and Logan. Lots of privacy. Beds were comfortable & we had most everything we needed! No ceiling fans but we brought our own fans. Unfortunately, there wasn't a great place to plug in a fan in the loft.

I was very uneasy renting this place from past experiences, but we were very happy when we arrived. What a great cabin.

The location was nice and having direct tv was nice. Th e bath towels need to retired to using as rags. As they were frayed. The kitchen dishes were greasy so I had to wash them . The cook wear is old and needs to be updated. The hot tubs half the jets were not working so we weren't able to use it overall, I was disappointed and probably wouldn't...

This was a very nice location to stay, close to everything you would wanna do in hocking hills. The hot tub was perfect after a nice hike. Very quiet at night, perfect for a fire out in the yard.

The cabin was a nice weekend getaway for 2.
The bed was comfortable and the cabin was neat. However, only half of the jets in the hot tub worked and the bathtub was stained from I'm assuming hard water. Other than that loved the getaway.

The cabin was perfect size for a small family. Had everything family needs to stay for a short while. Bed was fine. Had internet that worked and tv for kids. Towels were old. They had 8 so two per person, hot tub then shower. The decor was dated. The carpet in bedroom had not been vacuumed. Floors needed swept better but everything else was clean....

The cabin is good enough. There are several issues with smells. It seems as if (1) the drains are molding, causing a sewage smell after running water. (2) After the sewage smell was gone there is a clear bacteria issue with either the hot water heater or actual well. I am a Youtube creator who made a return trip to the Shawnee Cabin after 22 years . After a booking mixup the staff graciously rectified the situation . The staff are amazing including the housekeeper Christine.

Pretty cabin for a getaway!
This cabin was really pretty! It was fully equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely! If you dont like a firm mattress, bring a mattress pad. The bed is very firm! I wish I had known that ahead of time as Im used to a more plush mattress.

Quiet, cute. Had everything we needed for a short stay.
The cabin was perfect size for a small family. Had everything family needs to stay for a short while. Bed was fine. Had internet that worked and tv for kids. Towels were old. They had 8 so two per person, hot tub then shower. The decor was dated. The carpet in bedroom had not been vacuumed. Floors needed swept better but everything else was clean. Sinks had soap. Counters were clean. Has pans & utensils. Small fry pans only. Fridge and freezer worked. Furnace worked very well. Hottub works, old.

It worked, but needs some attention.
The cabin is good enough. There are several issues with smells. It seems as if (1) the drains are molding, causing a sewage smell after running water. (2) After the sewage smell was gone there is a clear bacteria issue with either the hot water heater or actual well. At first, it was pure rotten eggs (sulphur) then after it was a combo sulphur and strong iron metallic smell. These bacterial issues with water are not harmful to humans. Cabin smelled all weekend. The hot tub is in bad shape.
