This place is very roomy, great view to the lake. Hot tub was very nice and relaxing after hiking. The location to Hocking hills, Coffee Emporium, Kroger with a Starbucks and restaurants was great! Beautiful place and beautiful location!!
The cabin was beautiful!! Loved the spaciousness of it, the balcony & the lake view!! The only thing lacking was a gas grill & firewood.

Just ok, but not worth the price and likely to not stay again
Everything about lakewood cottage was just ok. From the stained pink carpet in the bedroom to the falling apart plastic chairs on the deck, everything was just a bit rundown. Cleanliness was also an issue, as when our party arrived the downstairs toilet had obviously been used, but not flushed. Lastly the pictures are a bit deceiving as the boat...

Loved the amenities, the layout of the house and location.

Just a few pointers: the knives were dull-had to buy some new ones for myself in order to cut our meat; the tray in the dishwasher kept falling whenever you stacked dishes and twice the detergent pod did not dissolve during cycle; the cushions on the sofa kept falling out and we found dirty sheets under the bed. We enjoyed the house and the amenities inside. We've stayed at a number of Hocking Hills homes/cabins in the past, but I really liked the location of this one. We are considering a stay this summer so we can be close to the lake and get outdoors more!

This place is very roomy, great view to the lake. Hot tub was very nice and relaxing after hiking. The location to Hocking hills, Coffee Emporium, Kroger with a Starbucks and restaurants was great! We didn't use the kitchen much so I'm not sure of what all they had there except that the coffee maker needs replaced and some new towels. (both very old) The place was very quiet. Just ok, but not worth the price and likely to not stay again
Everything about lakewood cottage was just ok. From the stained pink carpet in the bedroom to the falling apart plastic chairs on the deck, everything was just a bit rundown. Cleanliness was also an issue, as when our party arrived the downstairs toilet had obviously been used, but not flushed. Lastly the pictures are a bit deceiving as the boat dock is down the long driveway and across the street. It had also clearly been used by others as well, since it was littered with beer cans

It is close to downtown Logan & we bought great fresh veggies at Witten Farm Market. It's also close to a big Walmart for other kinds of shopping. One evening there was a tornado warning (which never happened) but I was relieved to have a full basement. The kitchen does need updating, especially the dishwasher. Adding fan for upstairs & door screens would be great.

Would really like to check out this company's other properties since this one was so nice.
