The cave by the fire pit was very cool !!
Such a great off grid vacation. The coffee pot could be bigger, and the bed on less of a slant and We did have to clean the hot tub intake from hair and lint so it worked better. But other than those things it was amazing. Please bring slippers or flip flops to keep the sand and gravel out of the hot tub since you have to walk on the drive way to get to it.
House is very rustic, but comfy. Loved the front porch. The cave was very cool & the sound of the nearby creek was soothing. Highly recommend the chocolate covered strawberries, they were amazing!

Very nice, rustic yet clean. The property its self is truly a natural wonder. I do suggest a few things for those who are staying there. First the directions could be a little more simple. ( follow Amerine Rd. until it dead ends) Second, pack DVD's while there is a TV and Blue Ray player, there is no satellite service. Other than that, We enjoyed our little getaway and will be back in the summer when we can truly explore the property. Personal cave was a nice touch.
The area, and fireplace. Only negative was there were 3 dead mice under the couch in a trap that began to smell.
Saw several Deer. We are older senior citizens and would like it better if both doors were keyed with the same lock. That way you would only have to climb the front stairs twice. Once when you are getting key out of lock box, and when you are putting key back in lock box. Had a great time except for climbing stairs each time we left cabin.
Tucked in a most serene and beautifully rustic setting. Our stay was peaceful and Romantic and yes you can survive without WI-FI. It is very close to Ash Cave and just exploring your surrounding area is wonderful also. I will definitely go back. I must say it is perfect for couples trying to reconnect with one another and disconnect from the day to day frustrations.

This was an excellent retreat from the overstimulation of contemporary life. No screens - no problems! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and provided all the amenities as advertised. Plus the cave is super cool! My kids enjoyed finding interesting fungi and tiny toads on the surrounding property. Two thumbs up!
I loved the privacy and the screened in front porch. Everything was great!
I liked that it was extremely remote. Forst time really going completely off the grid. (No mobile signal, no wifi)

Close to many of the trails, by a stream and rock formations. Nothing fancy but comfortable with everything we needed plus hot tub.

The coolest parts were the small cave next to the cabin and the beautiful scenery on the property. Driving in you get to see giant rock walls like they have in the best hocking destinations. Spotted deer and wild turkeys in the front yard of the cabin. The covered porch would have been used and much appreciated if it had been warmer outside during my stay. Hope to visit again!

Super adorable cabin with all amenities. Surrounded by lots of rock and a small cave. Would recommend 4 wheel drive to get to it!
