We liked the spacious accommodations, the aesthetic intrigue of the house and the grounds, and the overall unique experience that also had all of the comforts of home for our family. The kitchen, fireplace, and spacious living area were things which made this a special experience.
We liked the peacefulness and beauty of the property. The Chalet was big enough for our crew of 5. We enjoyed the bird song and peeper frogs. My husband and granddaughter loved the ponds. Beds were comfortable. The only problem I noticed was that the kitchen and bathroom trashcans were not cleaned out from the previous people. Just bags put in over the dirty cans.
Owner's reply: Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us at our Mercer House, Jennifer! It's named after the Preserve it sets on - enjoying nature here is a given! We are so glad you had a great experience! Thank you for letting us know about the trashcans, that is not the standard we strive for and I apologize. Please come back to visit us again very soon!
There was a group of 6 adults (3 couples), all family, that stayed in the Mercer house. The exterior of the home is gorgeous and the home has beautiful bones, but needs some TLC to make it enjoyable.
