We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. Hocking Hills is one of our favorite getaways, and this cabin made the trip even better. It felt warm, welcoming, and homey from the moment we arrived. After days of hiking and exploring, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The only thing we'd change is the bed—it wasn't the most comfortable for us, though others may prefer it. Everything else was just about perfect!

We stayed here several times. Always clean. Decorations are always changed for the season. Hot tub is spotless. Great quality linens. Kitchen is well stocked. Gas grill is clean. Property is well maintained.

The cabin is great for two people. Our first night, it snowed, and early the next morning, the driveway was plowed for us—great service! The only suggestion I would make to enhance the experience is the lighting. The cabin is too dark. Please add additional / brighter lighting; LED bulbs put out a LOT of light for little cost. I would also recommend adding a light over the sink.

We booked last minute for an impromptu weekend getaway. The cabin was so welcoming and inviting and there were so many thoughtful details! From the farm fresh eggs in the fridge to the personalized welcome sign and bottle of wine with hand written note, lighted hot tub and projector lights in the bedroom and his and hers bathrobes. The whole cabin and grounds were immaculate and they even provided firewood. We would definitely come back!

Secluded cabin with lot's of wildlife. Still close enough to enjoy the hiking trails and activities. The hot tub is a huge draw for us. It's nice relaxing in it after a day of hiking and an evening campfire. We also notice and appreciate the personal touches that Sonya adds to the cabin and surrounding grounds. Nothing was lacking. Place was clean, solitary, and everything worked. Everything that needed instructions, had them. Pleasantly surprised by the personalized welcome sign, the tree canopy in the back yard after dark, and gifts left on the table for us to enjoy.

As we drove up to the cabin, it looked very nice and simply just kept getting better from there. Front porch sitting areas and back yard (Firepit & HotTub). Had a record player with various albums to listen to and games to play. The cleanliness and extra touch of welcoming for a birthday surprise was great. Sonja left a note and reached out to ensure we had all we needed. It was great!

The bed was very comfortable. Loved the hot tub as well. It's a cozy cabin that was very comfortable to stay in. We would seek out to stay in this cabin or any others from the owners again.

As soon as we walked in the door, we saw two wine glasses with a small bottle of wine. We saw a greeting sign with our names on it. The hot tub was outstanding. The fire pit was relaxing. The front porch was amazing. In the refrigerator we were greeted with fresh eggs and two bottles of water. The state was absolutely phenomenal. Definitely will be back.

My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary at a Rustic Roots Cabin and it was everything we were looking for. A secluded getaway in the hills of Logan, OH in the Fall was as beautiful as it sounds. Having the hot tub and fire pit were great ways to end our evenings. The one thing we didn't realize, but were so fortunate for was how conveniently located the cabin was from 33, only about 5-7 minutes. So glad we did this and will be back for more quiet time!

From sitting on the front porch enjoying nature or playing the provided board games, to wearing the robes out to relax in the hot tub or cooking a meal this little cabin offers it all. Theres even a little projector on the nightstand that projects stars on the ceiling! The bathroom is roomy and functional with creative decor and antique, yet functional, first aid box. We pre-purchased wood for the fire ring and it was well worth it. We smelled and enjoyed the fire as we sat in the hot tub. There are linen robes and plush towels for when you come in- they smelled so good! It was very spa-like. However, the star of the show is the old record player and record collection. We spun records for hours, just like our high school days! We even saw a doe and fawn at dusk in the front yard! Netflix and board games are there and are perfect for rainy days. We really enjoyed reading the guest book! We learned about cabin features, nearby hiking trails and good eats! Everyone who has been here LOVED it! Since most parks were still closed, we hiked the Rockbridge Nature Reserve trail to the natural bridge and waterfal

One of the best cabins we've ever stayed in. So many extra special touches made our trip perfect. We loved the hot tub and how private the cabin was. We never saw another person the whole time we was there. The awesome record collection was a bonus that we loved. The flowers, the wine, the card and the sign with our names on it made us feel very special and appreciated. The lights outside and inside the bedroom was amazing. The cabin was spotless and decorated so rustic and cozy. Loved that it was close to town as well. We got engaged while there and we hope to come back real soon. Thanks for everything! The cabin was so beautiful peaceful. Perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. I've never saw a cabin so perfect! The cleanliness was amazing and we had everything we needed right there. Will definitely be returning.

My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary at a Rustic Roots Cabin and it was everything we were looking for. A secluded getaway in the hills of Logan, OH in the Fall was as beautiful as it sounds. Having the hot tub and fire pit were great ways to end our evenings. The one thing we didn't realize, but were so fortunate for was how conveniently located the cabin was from 33, only about 5-7 minutes. So glad we did this and will be back for more quiet time!

Rustic Roots Cabin is exactly as the pictures! Beautiful, Comfy, Peaceful! We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking Hocking Hills and the Bon Fire is so relaxing! Highly recommend this couples cabin!

We really enjoyed the cabin. Sonya was very kind and inviting. The cabin was very cozy and felt like home. The cabin and the outside were very clean. The hot tub was very relaxing especially at night looking up at the stars. The bed and couch were very comfortable. Hotel beds frequently hurt my back but I woke up everyday pain free. We enjoyed using the record player and hearing music from our high school days. Sitting out on the porch in the morning was very peaceful. Listening to the birds and squirrels, seeing two deer walk past the cabin and hearing only two cars the entire time we were there was something you don't often get to experience. Overall our time there was wonderful and hopefully we will return next year.

Could not say better things about our stay. Everything about the cabin was evidence of excellent planning and a perfect host.

I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Beautifully decorated, electric fireplace, full kitchen, grill, hot tub, very private, peaceful and clean. Rustic root is a very short drive to all of the caves and scenic activities. The owners paid a lot of attention to detail. Definitely a 5 star cabin.

Everything about our stay at Rustic Roots Cabin was wonderful. Our hostess made us feel so welcome, and the cabin was beautiful. There were so many little touches that made us feel at home. Everything was clean and well-appointed. What a great place! We will definitely be back!

Easy to register. Owner communicates well and goes above expectations. Very clean and layout is organized well. Secluded without extra noise and hustle bustle of the city. But, close enough it isn't an inconvenience to travel into town. We would, without a doubt, return because Rustic Roots Cabins is more than just a place to lay your head down!
