Great cabin!
Aspen Retreat is a great cabin! Very clean and cozy. We loved the hot tub, jucuzzi and game room. It is a great place to get away with family or friends. We hope to be back soon!

We all sleep comfortable and had plenty of room to do our own thing if we wanted. Also speaking of sleeping. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. Trust me you don't need to bring your own pillow. However, do bring dvd's and a bluetooth speaker. You do not get any tv and the radio in the kitchen only picks up one station. The kitchen is loaded with everything you need, and the cabin is close to the caves and shopping. My family and I will for sure be revisiting this place in the future....

The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was stocked enough with utensils and such that we felt like it was a second home. The water gets VERY hot, but that isnt a bad thing, just something to be aware of. The porch had a ton of available firewood, and we loved the convenience of just running to the porch to grab some. We did see some small bugs inside, but mostly those came in from our children apparently being brought up in a barn and not knowing how to shut a door. Plus, youre in the middle of the woods, so its bound to happen. My only suggestion to the owners would be to maybe put some wasps traps outside Im highly allergic, so they make me nervous. We will definitely be returning. We wanted to extend our stay but someone else had already booked it. Thank you so much to the owners for taking the time to make a truly magical place!

With a pool table and air hockey in the basement along with a bunch of games to keep them occupied the only think I would recommend is for renters to bring dvds/bluerays and music cds. The kitchen was stocked enough for 3 kids and 4 adults to dine and prepare food comfortably, and everything was wonderfully clean. The fire pit is great and the hot tub was wonderful to relax in after camping my only wish would be that the stairs were stationary or had a railing for getting in and out. We had problems with the bathtub upstairs leaking only if you used the wand to wash your hair, so we didnt use it just to make sure we didnt make the leak worse. But everything else was perfect and we got quick response any time we called the phone number to report problems. Also, there isnt a landline or any reception at the cabin...which makes me nervous in the event of an emergency knock on wood that never happens or problem with the cabin we had to wait to report until we were out traveling.
