The cabin was cleaner and slightly larger than we expected. It was nice that there were gas stations and food options nearby.
Cozy place for two to stay. The hot tub was a pleasure.
It was exactly what my wife and I needed. It's a well kept and maintained cabin, and we are looking forward to booking a stay in the future.
I was very happy with my over all stay in in the fox den. I am an old lady by myself and this cabin was absolutely perfect for me. It was stocked very well it was very clean and the hot tub was nice. I never got the TV to work but who needs TV in a place like that? I am looking forward to going back. The girls at Adventure Pro were all very sweet and very helpful.
The cabin was extremely clean. It had everything we needed and it even had thing's especially in the kitchen we weren't expecting. For example a toaster, a blender, even had an electric skillet. The cabin smelled clean the moment we walked in.
We enjoyed going to Moonville Tunnel, that was recommended by 1st Choice Cabins.
Ive been working 60-80 hours a week for months and needed a getaway. This was a much needed reset.

As a manager in retail the holidays were intense . I had a couple days vacation comming to me and I could not have made a better choice for a place to unwind in solitude . I'm 60 and I can take Hot tub in the snow off my bucket list ! I arrived at my cottage only a few hours before the snow storm arrived . The staff plowed the drive and used snow blower around the car early the next morning . Clean comfortable stay thank you for giving me relaxation ! Looking forward to more stays in the future .
We stayed at the Fox Den Cabin. It was very quaint. It was clean also. The only complaint would be more butter knives and a medium pot. Also maybe a new stove. It was quiet in the surrounding neighborhood. Beautiful scenery around it.
My boyfriend and I loved this cabin getaway at Fox Den. So perfect with the hot tub and fire pit to make smores. We were also able to enjoy our mornings drinking coffee in rocking chairs on the front porch. Customer service was great. Price was really good for what we got and this company was flexible with rescheduling due to a death in the family. Property was clean and provided kitchen utensils needed. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, we will most definitely be back.
My husband and I wanted to get away for a weekend and unplug from life. Fox Den was perfect for the two of us. It was one of the cleanest cabins I have ever stayed at in Hocking Hills. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was perfect. The bathroom was remodeled and the shower had great water pressure and no water smell. We had an electrical situation with the fridge/microwave not working. 1st Choice Cabin Rental fixed the situation as soon as we called. Great customer service. WE will be back a
We had a decent stay. For the price the cabin met our expectations. There were a few issues with the Fox den cabin though. The wifi was not working correctly, it would allow our phones to connect but not our tablet's or laptop's. We also had quite a few large wasp's coming from the ceiling fan. The cabin had adequate amenities so it was not all bad.
We enjoyed are stay we will stay again easy to get to hope we can bring our fur baby next time . Thanks again
As a solo guest on my motorcycle, the Fox Den cabin was perfect. Compact, clean, well furnished, and close to the routes I had planned on riding. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If you are planning a vacation in the Hocking Hills area, I strongly recommend giving these fine folks a call.
