It was a fantastic stay! Beautiful!
It was a beautiful cabin. Very spacious and the hot tub was extremely relaxing. The scenery and quiet was amazing. We got to see a lot of wildlife and even had a raccoon encounter.

Loved the place and it was as described!
The place was easy to find, clean and the hot tub was perfect. We were close to Old Mans Cave and other hikes. My only suggestion would be to add more cutting boards (a couple different sizes) and a full set of wine glasses.

The perfect cabin for a weekend away.
We absolutely loved the hot tub. The cabin is cozy and perfect for a relaxing couple days away. It was too cold to be outside by the fire pit but used the indoor fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed. Hoping to book this cabin in the fall. The only recommendation is the comforters need washed and updated.

The house was plenty big enough and well stocked with everything we needed. The option to have a fire indoors or outdoors was fantastic, hot tub was clean and hot. Central location to all the trails, and close to the little general store with ice cream! We would return for sure.

The cabin is gorgeous inside and it. I love that the deck wraps around from the front side and to the back. We spent a good amount of time on the deck alone. The hot tub was a definite hit. I loved it and the size is the cabin was just right. We didn't have any issues that needed to be addressed during our stay.

The cabin was wonderful, wrap around deck, new section just for the hot tub, full kitchen, bathroom w/ tub, two bedrooms with queen beds, AC, new reclining sofas, new smart TV and surprise, WIFI! We had a very relaxing time ans enjoyed being in nature! Make sure you bring more blankets, there was no more extra blankets to be found in the cabin which would have been very nice!

Hunter's Retreat was a very clean and beautiful cabin, can't wait to visit here again.
The cabin was very cozy and felt almost like home. Really enjoyed the large outside deck and seeing the deer daily. The staff was very quick to respond and showed up at the cabin to help with a minor hot tub issue.

A unique cabin experience in an area of many trails.
A private setting in the outdoors with opportunities to view wildlife. Notes- Could not find a power switch for the light fixture above the hot tub outside. There is no separate bin for recyclables. Consider adding a hair dryer for guests.

Nice quiet cabin in a great location!
This cabin was perfect for our family trip to Hocking Hills for the week. It's in a nice secluded location but it's also close to all the things to do in Hocking Hills. The cabin is large and was very clean and the back deck with the hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking.

The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with necessities (toilet paper, garbage bags, coffee filters, towels, etc). Hot tub was clean and the location to the nearest trails was great!

This is the best cabin we have stayed in so far.
Great location. Well stocked and very clean. The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi and tv service when we were stuck inside due to the rain.

Kids still got to use their phones (part time, we did come to enjoy nature after all). I wish I could say more, we will be returning soon!

Nice location with hot tub
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, near Old Mans Cave. We were happy to have the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There is no Wi-Fi, television, or cell service but we took some games to play and enjoyed a nice quiet evening. The only issue we had was the door keypad did not work on arrival so we had to drive into town to call the owners to fix it. He said the batteries needed to be replaced. It was a little inconvenient because we had no way of contacting them with no cell service.

Definitely need 4-wheel drive if it's raining (slick leaves) or snowing.
