Perfect for Couples or Small Families! Full Kitchen, Living Room, wood-burning fireplace, Hot Tub and more! NOTE: No Internet Access at this property, at this time. We're trying to get it brought in, but it's not here yet. There is a TV with a DVD Player, but No TV Service. (Bring DVD's).

great place only thing I would want is more place to put our things instead of the floor We had a great time maintance and house keeping were very nice Hope to come back next year when its a little warmer
We had a very relaxing time ans enjoyed being in nature! Make sure you bring more blankets, there was no more extra blankets to be found in the cabin which would have been very nice!
Great place to stay, close to hocking hills. Very quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub.
It was very clean, everything you needed was provided and the hot tub was well kept. Very private and just a nice well maintained cabin overall.
Very clean! The hot tub was AMAZING! We enjoyed cooking for ourselves in the kitchen, everything was provided that we could have possibly needed.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, near Old Mans Cave. We were happy to have the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There is no Wi-Fi, television, or cell service but we took some games to play and enjoyed a nice quiet evening. The only issue we had was the door keypad did not work on arrival so we had to drive into town to call the owners to fix it. He said the batteries needed to be replaced. It was a little inconvenient because we had no way of contacting them with no cell service.
We travel a lot & this was by far one of our favorite destinations. Hunters Retreat was so peaceful & so clean. Everything stated in the description is completely accurate. I can see why you would need 4 wheel drive if it happens to snow. This place did not disappoint. We did have a hard time with service on our phones- could make calls but that was it. Which was perfect in my opinion. At a place like this you don�t need technology! Simply gorgeous. We definitely want to make a trip back!
We loved the fire place and of course the hot tub. The open living space was also a nice touch.
Wife and I stayed in this 2-bedroom cabin - remote enough to be private but close to the caves and walking trails, so plenty to explore. Also only 20 minutes from grocery and restaurants. Came in late Nov, used the fireplace and hot tub on back porch daily. Full kitchen, fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, cutting board, strainer, etc. Modern and clean, beautiful scenery even with leaves off trees. Definitely need 4-wheel drive if it's raining (slick leaves) or snowing.
The cabin was very cozy and felt almost like home. Really enjoyed the large outside deck and seeing the deer daily. The staff was very quick to respond and showed up at the cabin to help with a minor hot tub issue.

A private setting in the outdoors with opportunities to view wildlife. Notes- Could not find a power switch for the light fixture above the hot tub outside. There is no separate bin for recyclables. Consider adding a hair dryer for guests.
The cabin was awesome. Very clean, loved the hot tub and had some visiting deer!

This cabin was perfect for our family trip to Hocking Hills for the week. It�s in a nice secluded location but it�s also close to all the things to do in Hocking Hills. The cabin is large and was very clean and the back deck with the hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking.
The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with necessities (toilet paper, garbage bags, coffee filters, towels, etc). Hot tub was clean and the location to the nearest trails was great!

Great location. Well stocked and very clean. The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi and tv service when we were stuck inside due to the rain.
The cabin met our needs perfectly. We liked that the location was close to hiking trails. The hot tub was relaxing after our days adventuring and we enjoyed the fire pit as well. Everything was very clean and in good working order. I definitely recommend staying!
The cabin was perfect. Nice big porch, hot tube, and all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and clean and the cabin overall was great!
