Exceeded Expectations
This was our first time ever staying at a cabin and this one exceeded our expectations! There was a decent amount of space, everything was very neat and clean and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of entertainment options and the back decks were a hit with the kids. Our family will definitely be returning in the near future.

We love coming to Aspen Ridge for our yearly anniversary get away!
The cabin is beautiful and has lots of amenities. It's so peaceful, relaxing and we can bring our dogs which is a big plus. We have stayed in the cabins 3 years in a row and will continue to come here and celebrate our anniversary! The owner Lee is also great!

Great family friendly property in a beautiful secluded setting!
Loved the updates that have been done to the kitchen and basement areas! Back porch was perfect for kids and our dog because of the railing going all the way around. Beautiful wooded setting was very peaceful and we had some nice walks as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Cardinal Cabin is the Coolest
The cabin location was chosen well and the isolation of humans was perfect for a reflective time in the outdoors. Not just one but two Luna Moths hung around the cabin for our entire stay. Love the rocking chairs and all seating inside and out. All appliances and electronics worked well. Nothing went wrong. Very pleased with this cabin service!

The Cardinal Hocking Hills Cabin
We stayed in The Cardinal, and absolutely loved it! Loved the gliders on the front porch :) and also enjoyed the back deck. Very quiet and peaceful place and so relaxing. Glad there wasnt any WiFi,just simple nature. I liked the idea of having some games and books available. Couple of suggestions would be better linens/towels. Bed spread was dirty...

It was exactly how it was described on the website. I have no doubt the customer service is great, but we didn't need it for a thing because everything was awesome and in working order. Booking the cabin was so easy and the communication and directions were spot on. All of the fun of Hocking Hills was nearby and the cabin was easy to get back to. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and if you have a large group you could even rent out the other two cabins because they are close enough in proximity to be together as a group but far enough away to have your space. Perfect for groups of friends, families, couples, etc. We will definitely be making another trip to Aspen Ridge in the future, and I highly recommend you plan a trip there too!

The Cardinal Hocking Hills Cabin

Nice relaxing weekend....but with a catch
We were so in love with this cabin when we checked in! The Cardinal is beautiful inside!! The exposed wood was just what we were looking for! And we were surprised at how large and spacious the cabin was! The kitchen was stocked with all needed equipment to cook weekend meals and everything was clean and ready for us. We loved the fact that this cabin had a hot tub! We definitely took advantage of that! However, the ONLY negative to our experience was when we came home after our weekend trip, we noticed red bumps on our bodies. It progressed into a rapid rash/pimples. Seeking doctor care, we were diagnosed with folliculitis. Which is an infection of the hair follicle, from bacteria found in hot tubs! Just wish our hot tub would have been cleaned better!!
