The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and private with beautiful scenery. We loved the hot tub! Excellent location with plenty to do nearby - shopping, hiking, and dining.

The field was incredible to have nearby to let our dog roam around, the cabin was well stocked and comfortable, and the amenities were very welcome after a long day in the Hocking Hills area.

We loved that when we walked in calming music came on to welcome us snd that the owners had a binder with maps of the hiking trails as well as local restaurants and directions on how to work the air conditioner, tv etc. The cabin was very clean and had all of the kitchen essentials. There was a huge outdoor space with fire pit and picnic table and of course the deck with grill, dining table and chairs and a hot tub. We were visited by deer as we enjoyed the night time fire under the stars.

I loved the easy flow from hiking, sitting on the porch, and hot tubbing that this cabin offers. Everything being on one level was perfect for my 13 year old arthritic dogs, too. As usual with all the Marsh Hallow properties, the cabin was spotless when we arrived. The hummingbirds, deer, and other critters were excellent company.

I loved watching the birds feed out the main window. I loved the clean Hot Tub. I needed help to add our Netflix account one more day. I later found the instructions on the trunk but they were covered by our items.

The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. It had everything we needed for the weekend.

The cabin was very clean; spacious; with a large deck; and a clean, relaxing hot tub; Keurig machine and regular coffee pot; true to posted pictures. Wifi signal was strong throughout cabin and on the deck - with speeds measuring around 15mps. Close drive to hiking destinations. I stayed during winter/early spring - so trees were bare and you could see and hear cars on the nearby street. I suspect this would not be an issue during summer. Will be beautiful in autumn. We were late planning our New Year reservation but very fortunate to find this gem. We loved hiking on the premises. We didn't leave once in the 4 days we were there.

My wife and I stayed here with our two kids for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The cabin is very cozy, the scenery is beautiful. The hot tub was pleasant. We would gladly stay at Marsh Hollow again.

The remote area. The walking trails up the hill. The Gas stove. The access to satellite TV. The privacy to be able to use the hot tub in peace and quiet.

This was our 12th trip to Pinewood Cabin. It is the perfect escape from daily life to relax. The cabin is clean and cozy and John is there if you need anything. Love we can take our dogs with us. It's truly a slice of heaven! The trail is nice to hike and the cabin is close to Laurelville if you need groceries or a pizza! We enjoy so much we come twice a year.

Marsh hollow is close to the major Hocking Hills attractions and hiking trails, and far enough away from the major campgrounds so your stay will be quite and relaxing. There are a number of local micro breweries and local restaurants to discover and then return to the Pine Wood for a nice long visit to the Hot Tub. Enjoy Your Stay.

The Pinewood cabin is located relatively close to all the main destinations for hiking, the owners had plenty of information easily accessible to guests. It really felt like my wife and I were the only two in the holler. We will 100% be coming back for future trips.

Privacy and quiet

Our first time to the Hocking Hills area, and will not be our last. The cabin and setting were amazing. After a long drive was nice to be able to just walk out and take a hike on the property's trail, then relax in the hot tub. Cabin itself was perfect for the two of us, had everything we needed for our four night stay. Was located perfectly to the hikes / areas we wanted to go to. Will be back in the area (and staying here) next year.

We loved the peacefulness and tranquility of the pinewood cabin. The fact that you have your own trails right there on the property and the only other people with access are from your other two cabins is amazing. The fact that you're dog friendly and the space that dogs have to run free is just wonderful. The backup generator to ensure a quality vacation even in a power outage is a HUGE plus. Homely feeling and overall cleanliness of the entire property

This place is very private and peaceful. It was very easy to find and close (driving) to a lot of the trails. We enjoyed the very large deck and relaxing hot tub. I would definitely recommend the Pinewood Cabin. It was perfect.

The warm log walls, the picture window, the gas stove heater, the comfortable furniture, all made for a perfect little retreat. The weather was wet while I was there, but that made the hiking feel kind of otherworldly, and then the cabin was there to welcome me back. Porch would be lovely in warmer weather, too, and the hot tub was nice even in the rain! On clear nights the great lawn would be a wonderful place for stargazing, too. It's a really lovely place.

This was our first stay at Pinewood. It was easy to gain access to the location and it was awesome to hear the music playing when we arrived. We hiked, enjoyed the hot tube and relaxing on the porch. We also enjoyed the bird feeder. So awesome to see all the variety and the repeat customers to the feeder. We used the grill and also had some great pizza from downtown Laurelville. We ventured into Logan and visited the distillery. It was a great weekend getaway!

Two-night couple's get away

My partner and I recently enjoyed a two day stay at Marsh Hollow's Pinewood Cabin. The cabin and the entire property far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere inside the cabin was warm and inviting, very clean and tidy with all the comforts of home. Outside the cabin was a nature lovers paradise, very private and serene with lots of wildlife to observe. We loved it so much we never left the property and we will definitely be back. We've stayed at the Pinewood Cabin now for several years. It's our foul-weather-time-of-the-year getaway. The cabin sits on the edge of a small valley and stream, shrouded by trees from a little-traveled road. The opposite side of the valley is a steep tree-covered slope. So it's both private and quiet. We've stayed at all the Marsh Hollow properties (Pinewood Cabin, Shadyside and The Cottage) numerous times over the year and really love it. The location and amenities are great, cabins very clean and in good working order. When our son was young, Pinewood was ideal but now that he's older, we like the extra space at Shadyside or The Cottage. The properties are centrally located to all our favorite hiking places in Hocking Hills. The only bad thing about Marsh Hollow is it's so popular!

We rented all 3 cabins for my wedding weekend. We used the shelter at the Pinewood cabin to get married at. They have an arch we decorated to stand under. John was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! All 3 cabins were very nice, clean and stocked. The grounds are beautiful, even in the rain. We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed and it was amazing all the little details that the owners offer throughout the cabin. We will definitely be back again and will recommend this cabin and all the Marsh Hollow cabins to our family and friends!

Ive been coming down to Hocking Hills for The Nelsonville Music Festival since 2010. Ive stayed at their Pinewood cabin at least 6 times a few times in the fall toobeautiful scenery!, and I decided to try their Cottage cabin, which is located right down the road from Pinewood. The road to Marsh Hollow properties starts the adventure right, with a scenic view and a hill that makes you feel like youre tipping off the face of the Earth, lol! The Cottage is private, and we felt like we were in a secluded park, all to ourselves. The cabin is immaculate, and very comfortable. Hot tub is sparkling clean, and perfect after a long day of hiking. Beds are comfy and blankets in top notch condition. Ive been taking my basset hound down with me, and she has a great time too! Pinewood cabin have an enclosed deck with the hot tub, the Cottage doesnt I did like that more about Pinewood, as my hound cant be trusted off leash and it was nice to have her on the deck with me when I was in the hot tub or eating on the deck. The Cottage is more spacious, and more comfortable if you have more than two guests theres a spacious loft area with a bed, bathroom, and futon that my friends kids were able to take over during their visit. Customer service is always top notch, Ive never had any issues before or during my stay. I look forward to many more stays at the Marsh Hollow properties! Thank you for the hospitality!

My wife and I have celebrated our anniversary in the Hocking Hills for the last 19 years. This year, we were about to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic then decided to book a cabin at the last minute. Big mistake until Marsh Hollow came to the rescue! We were in the first horrible cabin owned by another rental company for 4 hours when my wife contacted John at Marsh Hollow. The Operations Manager John was amazing! He got us out of the horrible cabin and into the Pinewood 1 hour later, which is adorable and exceeded our needs. The Pinewood was only available that night and John was willing to move us to The Cottage the next day. We were able to speak with John about his extensive cleaning process using a CDC endorsed spray costing 80 per gallon. We felt at ease knowing THIS cabin was clean and well maintained. John went way above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Little touches like robes, Weber gas grill and firewood made all the difference. It rained for 3 days but we brought a 10x10 pop up tent to put over the hot tub and we enjoyed hours of watching the birds and being with our dogs and son. I can't recommend Marsh Hollow enough! We had a great time at Marsh Hollow Pinewood Cabin with our 4 year old and our dog! Reservation, payment, check in and check out were super easy. We enjoyed the nearby trails which were just right for our family. All outdoor areas were great. There was a tie out for the dog near the fire pit area. The deck with lots of comfy seating and the hot tub was wonderful and we spent a lot of time there. The cabin is warm, cozy, rustic but functional. It was spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen supplies are good enough to make whatever meals one wants to make. We enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeder right outside the living room window. The DVD and game selection was cool! We took advantage of both. We really enjoyed our little vacation and look forward to visiting again sometime!

This was our first trip to Marsh Hollow and the Pinewood Cabin. We were pleasantly surprised how bright, clean and homey this cabin was. Everything was in place for a wonderful, peaceful time in the woods. A well marked trail close to the cabin let me know how out of shape I am but so enjoyable to walk up the hill and look down upon the cabin. We were there in frigid weather, but stayed warm and comfy inside. We did do the hot tub and stayed so long because it felt so good. It also had beautiful lights that went through different colors that made the dark night magical. The second night was the fire pit. We were allowed to have our two pups with us who loved the walks. Was so special!!!

Once again enjoyed a winter weekend at Pinewood Cabin! The owners know how to make visitors feel welcome, from the inviting hot tub and robes to the Bluetooth sound system and Welcome binder with trail maps and tips for what to do in and around Hocking Hills. We have stayed at Pinewood many times and also stayed at Shadyside with our grown children and parents. The memories created in these private, quiet rentals cannot be beat! Each cabin has a very large grassy area maybe 3/4 acre? in which children and dogs alike can run and play without worrying about other renters or road traffic. We rarely even hear a car let alone see one! Highly recommend staying in one of the 3 Marsh Hollow cabins.

Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary by taking a chance via the website. Beyond our expectations! Pinewood was our home away from home. They had a lit Christmas tree and music playing to welcome us, as well as every other convenience available. Joyful trip to the trails...even though it was in the 30s. We plan to return in the fall! Thank you so much!! P.S. Our 10 year old yorkie enjoyed Pinewood and the trails too!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pinewood Cabin. It is private and secluded. We loved the fire pit and the fact that the owners provided free firewood! It was a nice touch. It had everything we needed and had a comfortable bed which I always look for when we stay away from home. We will be back for sure!

When we found Pinewood Cabin, we looked forward to a relaxing, quiet vacation in the woods. When we arrived, we were truly impressed with the beauty of the cabin and property, as well as how spotless the cabin was! It was very serene and quiet, which is exactly what we hoped for. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away, it was better than we imagined! The owners are very caring and helpful, as well. It is quite evident they take pride in their rentals and consumers. I just want to say that the owners of the Marsh Hollow properties are amazing along with the manager John! We have been to the Pinewood Cabin 3 times now, once in 2016, 2018, and now 2019. They put the special touches for you at the cabin, with a welcoming note, robes, music playing, cool cabin upon arriving etc. The hot tub is so relaxing and I love round hot tubs, feels better than a square one IMO. We went to Serpent Mound this year from the cabin 1.5 hour drive, and that was an amazing trip in of itself. So breathtaking the vistas on the highway, the trees, the tiny villages with no traffic lights! We are from Akron, Ohio so there traffic lights all over the city, not in Hocking Hills or in Peebles. We will definitely stay there again, we have already 3 times. Such a romantic, quiet, beautiful getaway. Props to everyone who helps maintain the property. Pinewood cabin is the most affordable and beautiful cabin ever!

We stayed at the Pinewood Cabin. It was very clean, and stocked with just about anything you would need. We had an absolutely wonderful and peaceful stay. It's only about 15 minutes to the trails or restaurants and groceries in town. It's a great getaway. We will definately stay again.

My wife and I had the best vacation ever. After raising 7 kids, which are all grown now, we have never had a vacation just to ourselves. Being our anniversary week as well we booked our stay at Marsh Hollow for the Pinewood Cabin. Being excited to start our vacation we arrived early. John Operations Manager was at the cabin making sure the place was ready and accommodated our early arrival. The cabin was above our expectations. The privacy, the clean and spacious cabin was absolutely beautiful. It is nestled along the tree line with hummingbirds feeding as you watch from your deck. It is surprisingly free from bugs and critters even though the cabin is surrounded by nature. We could not have been more satisfied. The open area in front of the cabin, the small stream, the trail just inside the woods made it even better than he could have hoped for. I must compliment John for accommodating our flexible schedule and could not have more delighted on the professionalism he displayed. My wife and I highly recommend Marsh Hollow and its cabins. You wont be disappointed. Hocking Hills is such a beautiful and rewarding place to visit. Staying here in the Pinewood Cabin made it even more enjoyable. We will be returning again.

We just returned from our second trip to Hocking Hills and our stay at Pinewood cabin at Marsh Hollow. We absolutely love the coziness of Pinewood. It is so clean and John, Mary, and Dave make it so welcoming! The grounds are lovely with a little brook and a bridge to cross into the wooded trail for wonderful hiking. Added to the trail are little stone critters and an enchanted fairy door in a tree! If you are up to it you can take the trail all the way to the top of the hills. There are horses grazing by the cabin and whether you are making a campfire, sitting on the covered deck or in the hot tub-Pinewood will provide you peace and serenity. We have made a promise to visit Pinewood twice a year-and highly recommend this beautiful treasure!

We stayed in the Pinewood Cabin and it was wonderful. Plenty of space, clean, cozy, and well appointed! We loved the Christmas decorations and the hot tub was nice and fun to relax in with the snow coming down around us! The location is great as well- youre secluded, yet not far from the main attractions.

We love this wonderful little secluded cabin and have returned year after year and are never disappointed. It is always clean and comfortable with music playing upon our arrival. This is the place to come to get away from the city, relax on the cozy furniture, fix a steak dinner on the grill and eat at the kitchen table like the good old days. This is our third stay at Marsh Hollow. First time we stayed at Pinewood, the second time at Shadyside, this time we tried the Cottage. All of their cabins are very accommodating, well equipped and extremely private. Since they do not have cell service or satellite TV only have NetFlix, it forces us to relax and truly take time off. The cabins are always very clean and extremely comfortable. I would say my favorite is probably Shadyside since the deck allows our dog to be off the leash because it is gated. Whichever cabin you choose, you will have a wonderful and relaxing time at Marsh Hollow.

This was our first visit to Marsh Hollow. Because there are only two of us humans, we chose the Pinewood Cabin for its smaller size. We also looked for a place that would allow us to bring our two dogs. Leaving them in a kennel lessens our enjoyment of being away. Pinewood Cabin was amazing from the very first moment we arrived. It was so hot outside that day, but as soon as we entered the door, there was soft music playing and the whole cabin was cool and comfortable. What a wonderful way to begin a weekend away! The cabin is beautiful inside and out. Sitting on the deck that afternoon we were struck by the quiet and solitude. There was no rattling bass music blaring on the road or from the neighbors. There was only the sounds of nature. We watched the tiny hummingbirds flit around the feeder while our dogs enjoyed exploring the enclosed deck. It was so much better than we had expected. The word perfect is not one we use to describe many things, but Pinewood Cabin was as close as we could get. We are very picky about our travel arrangements. We have traveled to many places and stayed in many hotels and motels. We wanted a nice, quiet, private weekend away to unwind and we got that and so much more. When we had even the smallest question, help was a phone call or email away. The cabin was clean and every tiny detail had been provided. We were even delighted that our cell phones didn't work. It's hard to describe in words how special Marsh Hollow is. Just when you think it's as good as it gets, a mama deer and her fawn will pay a visit to the meadow below and you will be delighted all over again. It's an amazing and beautiful place and we hope to visit again soon.

We had another great stay at the Pinewood Cabin...location is perfect, the cabin is cozy comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings the awesome hot tub. No cell service for our phones, but they do have WiFiwhich is spotty at times. This was our second time staying at this cabin, and look forward to many other stays there!

We rented all 3 cabins for my wedding weekend. We used the shelter at the Pinewood cabin to get married at. They have an arch we decorated to stand under. John was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! All 3 cabins were very nice, clean and stocked. The grounds are beautiful, even in the rain. You can walk to each cabin without getting on the road. The cabins have games for kids and they enjoyed that. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed in Pinewood Cabin this past week for our honeymoon. We had so much fun!! When we walked through the door I could tell how clean everything was!!! It was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed having a fire and playing horseshoes in the evening right outside our cabin!! Everything was great and they had everything we needed, including board games for rainy days! We loved Marsh Hollow and hope to be back soon!!

We stayed at the Pinewood Cabin and we loved it! The cabin has all the amenities we expected full kitchen, full bathroom, TV, Wifi, etc.. It was also very clean. The customer service was excellent. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us. It was a very nice place to get away from the crazy city life.

We come to the Pinewood cabin about every year, to day hike in the forest and generally decompress at a dreary time of year March. Pinewood is the perfect size for two people, vs. most cabins sleeping a large family. The cabin sits in a private valley off a little used road, facing a wooded hillside that you can hike on if you want. It's clean, it's quiet, and it feels like home.

My husband and I were looking for a nice quiet get away that wouldn't cost too much, and the Pinewood Cabin at Marsh Hollow was the perfect fit. We have stressful lives, and we needed to unwind. There are plenty of nearby sites to see and trails to explore, but we just wanted a couple of nights away so we could reconnect and relax. Pinewood Cabin is perfect whether you want to explore or just stay in. The hot tub was our favorite part! The cabin was so roomy and gorgeous with a breath taking view. It was clean and cozy with linens, dishes, books, games, movies, and a cute propane heater. We enjoyed the blue ray and chest full of board games a lot. Our dog was also very relaxed and overjoyed that he could come along. Check in and check out were so easy and hassle free. Plus, it was unbelievably affordable! We are so refreshed now! We will definitely be back. In fact, this could become an annual trip for us.

My wife and I came for Christmas and we had the most incredible time. The cabins are pet friendly and super clean. We had the best Christmas ever. We stayed in Pinewood and The Cottage, we made a last minute change to stay 2 extra nights, so we moved cottages, both were stunning. Faith loved the open spaces to run around in. We are already planning next Christmas. This is where you want to stay.

What a beautiful and serene place to relax and enjoy the environment of Hocking Hills State Park. My wife and I have visited the Pinewood Cabin several times and have no reason to explore other places. We feel very comfortable and at home at this nice quaint location. You are in close proximity of Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and other highlights of the park system. The drives to the various points of interest and for hiking are very pretty and picturesque. We love the deck area just to sit, relax, sip on some wine and enjoy the scenery. Very peaceful surroundings to escape the noise of the city. The cabin is very clean and well maintained, has nice kitchen if you choose to cook your own meals, a grill on the deck. Also a very nice hot tub located on the deck. Bedroom offers comfort and bathroom is updated. Cabin is equipped with Direct TV and DVD unit to watch movies. This is your home away from home, but more relaxing! Must visit and am sure you will want to return!!

If you're looking for a secluded get away in the Hocking Hills this is the cabin for you. My husband and I have stayed here many times over the years and we love it. It is rustic yet has everything you would need for a comfortable respite away from the city. We love it! Wish it were ours. Take time to look at the Marsh Hollow website to get a good view of the inside and the out. We are active walkers and it's easy to take a walk outside your door or on the many beautiful trails in the area. Once you go you'll want to go back.

My husband and I (and our dog) have been visiting the Pinewood Cabin for four years now, our latest stay being in July of this year. We absolutely love this place; it is charming, peaceful, clean and comfortable, with everything we could need or want - the perfect home away from home. When we don't feel like lounging around the cabin, there are trails to hike out back, and many of the popular parks and attractions are only a short drive away. We're very happy to have found this gem of a place and will continue to visit whenever we get the chance to.

I booked Pinewood Cabin for a week day getaway with my dog. We just wanted time out of the city to hike and relax. Pinewood cabins was perfect! It was absolutely perfect inside, provided so many extras that made my trip easy to pack for. The location was easy to find and nicely marked. The grounds were a wonderful place for my dog to play and the hiking trail on the property was so great for our quick morning walk. Located not far from all of the great hiking trails, we made our way to Old Mans Cave to spend the day. The gated deck was great, I didnt have to worry about my pup while I chose to relax in the well maintained hot tub. I have already booked another trip with Marsh Mallow properties and I am excited to check out another property.

We've stayed at the Pinewood Cabin now for several years. It's our foul-weather-time-of-the-year getaway. The cabin sits on the edge of a small valley and stream, shrouded by trees from a little-traveled road. The opposite side of the valley is a steep tree-covered slope. So it's both private and quiet. The other advantage is that it's one of the few cabins I've found that is set up for a couple. We don't need three bedrooms. It's clean, well taken care of, and the pictures don't do it justice. The cabin is also well located as a starting point for most of the Hocking Hills hiking areas.

My boyfriend and I had the best time at the Pinewood cabin! The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved how secluded the property was, and the nature views were beautiful. Management was readily available to fix any problem. I would highly recommend this cabin to any couple looking for a romantic getaway, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The cabin was clean and everything worked great. The large open area was a plus. The dog loved it. Would have no issues coming back and the price was very reasonable. We stayed in Pinewood Cabin Feb. 15-18, 2017. The cabin was just as promised - we didn't have to bring a thing except ourselves and some good hiking shoes! A hot tub on the back deck was very clean and easy to operated. Owners took the time to provide excellent advice on what to see and do and where to find the "local's favorites" while in Hocking Hills. We especially appreciated the trail guides they put together for the area. Free Wi-Fi and local and long distance phone was provided which was nice as much of area is without cell service. The property had a private 1 mile trail with hidden gems along the path that young and old would thoroughly enjoy. The small things like complimentary robes, Bluetooth sound bar, and plenty of games and movies in the event of poor weather made this a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to Hocking Hills.

We've stayed at all the Marsh Hollow properties (Pinewood Cabin, Shadyside and The Cottage) numerous times over the year and really love it. The location and amenities are great, cabins very clean and in good working order. When our son was young, Pinewood was ideal but now that he's older, we like the extra space at Shadyside or The Cottage. The properties are centrally located to all our favorite hiking places in Hocking Hills. The only bad thing about Marsh Hollow is it's so popular!

The Pinewood cabin exceeded my expectations. From the peaceful setting to the little thoughtful touches in the cabin our experience was great. Our dog enjoyed the gated deck and the fairy trail. We enjoyed the deck too (great rocking chairs). There were good rocking chairs inside the cabin as well. The information provided on local attractions was a very helpful. Examples of thoughtful touches inside the cabin include the wifi and the clearly marked pull cords for the ceiling fan and light located in the bedroom. The customer service was good but little needed since the property was clean and everything worked. I will definitely recommend Marsh Hallow to friends and family. We are already planning our next stay.

My partner and I recently enjoyed a two day stay at Marsh Hollow's Pinewood Cabin. The cabin and the entire property far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere inside the cabin was warm and inviting, very clean and tidy with all the comforts of home. Outside the cabin was a nature lovers paradise, very private and serene with lots of wildlife to observe. We loved it so much we never left the property and we will definitely be back. Our stay at Pinewood Cabin at Marsh Hollow was the best cabin that we have stayed in at Hocking Hills so far. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. Our dog Bailey enjoyed running and exploring the big yard. We really appreciated the gates on the deck to keep her secured. We come to Hocking Hills at least once a year and will definitely stay at Marsh Hollow again.

We have spent several years renting cabins at different locations trying to find the perfect place that we want to go back to every year. We finally found the place. We stayed at the Pinewood Cabin at Marsh Hollow and had the most wonderful & relaxing visit. The cabin was very comfortable & spacious and John was very accommodating. We will be making an annual return to Marsh Hollow.

We stayed at the Pinewood Cabin at Marsh Hollow it was a beautiful cabin and had everything you could want. I made breakfast every morning and dinner a couple of times during our stay and the kitchen had everything that was needed even dishes, glasses and silverware which I didn't use we used paper plates and plastic cups and plastic ware because after all who wants to do a lot of dishes on vacation. It was so peaceful sitting on the deck and listening to the birds and the cicadas. We are planning another trip maybe in a year or so in the fall and I will book this cabin again. Highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from the fast pace lives we live. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

This was our second time at the pinewood cabin and it was great! Always so clean and cozy! The hot tub was great and the lights in it were cool at night. We love the sound system and deck also! Planning a trip back again soon! 5 star rating from us!

Me and the wife stayed at the Pinewood Cabin for two nights and just loved the cabin's warmth and the warmth of the hot tub wasn't so bad either. Great views and just the most peaceful time ever. The cabin is located very close to Old Man' Cave. I would suggest trying to see all the attractions as nothing will disappoint.

We rented both Pinewood and Shadyside cabins. My hubby and I planned a family weekend with our adult children, their spouses and two grandchildren, (one from each couple). They just tossed in an air matress or pack n play for the kids and it worked! We enjoyed our time greatly. The cabins were stocked with all the basic amenities. This was our second visit to Marsh Hollow--Pinewood and love this quaint little cabin and surrounding property so much we wanted to share it with our family! Our dogs were welcomed too! This is what initially brought us to Marsh Hollow. We like the company of our 5 lb. Maltese and he enjoys being with us as we enjoy nature and some down time. We highly recommend the hospitality of Mary and Dave. John was great to work with. Very responsive to our questions and even added in a personal touch fitting for our occasion. We fully enjoyed our time at Pinewood Cabin. When we arrived, we were greeted by dim lighting and calming music- along with a booklet detailing information regarding any possible question we might have. We found that the cabin was stocked with everything we needed and more. It is also equipped with Direct TV and wifi. We also really enjoyed the speakers on the deck, which correlated with the sound from the stereo/TV. Everything was clean and tidy. We appreciated the robes for the hot tub and the abundance of clean towels. The property itself was gorgeous, and we loved walking around the grounds with our dogs. The picnic shelter on grounds would be great for warmer weather get-togethers, such as a family reunion.

Marsh Hollow's Pinewood Cabin was the perfect getaway for Max and me. We decided to rent a cabin in celebration of my birthday, and as an excuse to get out of the city and enjoy the forest. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The gas fireplace kept us very warm and was a very charming touch. The hot tub was clean as well! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking homemade comfort food! We decided to take a winter hike on the property's trail, which wound through the wooded hills. It was really beautiful and serene. All of the furniture was comfortable. We even played checkers with the giant rug checkers set. We will definitely be coming back!
