Cozy and peaceful
The cabin is definitely rustic, but the location and lake are wonderful. We never received the promised email about what to bring with us, so we were pleased with the stocked kitchen. The cabin was also very clean. It's not fancy, but for the price, it's amazing. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

feels far away, but close to home
cabin and pond were very clean and comfortable. The staff which we met on our arrival were very friendly. The beds were comfortable, and as a 6 ft 4 in middle aged man, that's important, and rare, unfortunately.

It was very relaxing.
The availability of the different amenities (pond for canoeing, fishing. Hot tub, grill, fire pit, tv with streaming service) provided more than enough activities for a pleasant vacation. We will definitely come back.

Our weekend at Wyandot Woods was wonderful and memorable.
The cabin was exceptionally clean (very happy with that), accommodating, and met all our family needs. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, swimming with tubes, canoeing, fishing in the pond, and cooking on the firepit for dinner. There was nice access from the cabin to the pond and enjoyed late nights sitting at the fire pit roasting marshmallows and enjoying the hot tub.

We have now stayed in 3 cabins, maybe 4 the last 12 years or so and yes, quite accurate and suitable per cabin. Our customer service was spot on. Plenty of dishware, just an awesome job that way. The property has been clean every time we visit, it has never been an issue. Your cleaning staff does a great job. I have and always will recommend this getaway. My husband and I have always loved Wyandot Woods. In the past we've always stayed at either Cedar House or Hillside and every year you guys come through. If anyone is worried about bugs...curiously it's never been an issue. I asked the owner if they sprayed and she advised that they didn't, but just so you know...its amazing, no bugs...ever!!!The fishing is always great and the boats they provide are so appreciated. I also love that they accept dogs. So helpful that way. I hope to come back every year!!! Reasonably priced too!
