The cabin was nice and felt like home, it was in the middle of the woods which was nice as we didn't have any noise issues or worried about us making noise. The pool and hot tub were wonderful.

Great location and nice private house.
This was our 3rd time at this house and we really like that it sits back off the road as we enjoy the privacy. Always great communication with any issues or questions we have and easy check in and check out as well.

Cozy and quaint, but dated
Overall a good stay, the facilities accompanied our group nice,but for the price, the facility is a bit dated and had some issues such as the fridge not being very cool even with the temp turned down, the hot tub not working, and the pool not being clean.

Decent Getaway
Great cabin, wish we would have known there was another cabin in backyard; good stay overall room-wise. There was NO reception and no landline or sat phone (even for rent) so when my MIL had a stroke it was a nightmare.

This is our 2nd visit to The Pines. The accommodations are comfortable, warm and inviting. Everyone at 1st choice has been kind and easy to work with as well. Can't imagine anything that we were missing! We will be coming back for years to come.

Only complaint is that the other 4 of our party were in another cabin - Sand.... We understood it to be next door to each other, a simple walk across the yard but it was a steep walk...

Relaxation in the Hills of Southern Ohio
A great place to get some quiet relaxation in the middle of nature. Really enjoyed time with extended family here. The Pines Lodge cabin boasted everything you'll need to enjoy your stay, from a pool (which was very welcome on the 90+ degree days), a hot tub that we rarely used, ample sleeping space and the ability to ride 4 wheelers right from the property to the trails. Only downside was that the fridge was overfreezing and leaked/then froze some of our food. This was mentioned on checkout.

WE had a great enjoyable time

the hot tub didn't work from the moment we got there, we contacted the office but no one came out.

We understood it to be next door to each other, a simple walk across the yard but it was a steep walk down a long hill - required driving from one to the other. We went for a Pontoon boat ride, visited Hocking Hills Winery, Old Man's Cave, the Wild West train ride in Nelsonville and several shoppes, also Olde Dutch Restaurant and the BBQ restaurant. Nice getaway weekend!
