Slopeside Cabin is a lovely log cabin located on 6-acres with a stream-viewing deck, near Conkle's Hollow. Just minutes away from all Hocking Hills State Park trails. Slopeside has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, accommodations for up to 4 guests. Our cabin features a indoor fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, towels, linens, paper products, Satilite TV, Telephone with long distance calling in the US. Outside features include, covered hot tub gazebo, firepit area and parking. We liked the secluded location, but close proximity to hocking hills state park. The location was just enough off the beaten path to feel like we were alone in nature. It gave us time to unwind and reconnect as a family.
The beds were very comfy. The temperature it the house was adjustable. There was more than enough utensils and kitchen supplies, and plenty of towels. The view from the balcony was pretty too. There was also very spotty service so you don�t have to stay plugged into your electronics and social media.
It was the perfect Christmas getaway for the family, no wifi made everyone connect and get tuned with nature and it was all around a great experience, the cabin was clean and inviting. Would book again!!
The cabin was the perfect size for my daughter and 2 11 year old girls. We enjoyed using the hot tub together. The cabin was situated near a lovely creek and there was a nice porch to sit out on. It was great to be in a quiet area that was not too isolated.

I still only rent cabins with tv service, hot tub and most importantly a wood burning fireplace. This one had all of those requirements and a good location. Hot tub is large and functioned as good or maybe a little better than most. Tv's on the smaller size but adequate. Fireplace was nice to have and it's a must have for us! Didn't have to go through VRBO so we avoided the ridiculous fees that are added to all their rentals. I used them for many years but they control almost every rental now.

The hot tub, fire place and the seclusion were nice. The dishes were dirty though. I know it�s not Venture�s fault but the power was out and access to the cabin was blocked half the time because of tree trimming work. Given just a couple thousand dollars, they could get pots and pans that actually have lids, matching silverware sets, non stained towels, nicer beds and bedding, and tvs with a quality higher than 720p. They could also clean up the cobwebs and leaves in the outside spaces.
Loved the hot tub and privacy. Weird gospel music was playing when we got there. The tv never worked, called April 4 times. She said she was coming out to fix but never came.
The cabin was so nice with the big windows and the rooms were cozy. If you are looking for seclusion this is it, as well as a beautiful location and balcony to relax on. Would definitely come back again.
For the most part, it was private and off the grid. The cabin was cozy and just what we needed. We brought our dogs and they had left dog treats which was very thoughtful.
Wonderful spot to stay enjoy the views away from everybody else, while still being close to everything!
Loved the peace and quiet. Very close to Old Man's cave.

We shared a brief family weekend with our puppy at Slopeside in Hocking Hills. A Beautiful place. There is a lovely stream that flows outside that we enjoyed all weekend. It is a great location for to all the Hocking Hills caves. We had no problems getting around to the areas we wanted to see. Very clean and so comfortable. The staff was available and attentive to any needs. We look forward to our next stay. 5 stars! Thank you!
