Everything was excellent. The cabin was clean, decorated beautifully and very roomy.
The peace and tranquility of the place. It makes my soul happy to be there!!!! The perfect getaway for my husband and I. Our bodies sore and tired from getting older and working physical jobs, very much enjoy the hot tub!!!! The owner is very thoughtful and extremely nice!!!
The house was in perfect condition! Everything was clean and very nice ! I can actually say that the king size bed was one of the best in a rental that I have ever stayed in !!! Hot tub tucked away and very peaceful!!! Highly recommend a stay to destress!!!
The cabin was clean, we enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, the screen in porch, the lighting for the steps, it was a very nice stay.

The cabin was perfect, Phil and his team were friendly and helpful, and we were able to relax in a beautiful setting.
My husband, two kids and myself stayed here and we loved it! The cabin itself was very spacious and there was a lot to do in close proximity. We really enjoyed the hiking trails that could be accessed via the backyard. The kiddos also loved feeding the fish in the pond during our trail walks. Easy drive to other Hocking Hills areas (15-30mins depending on which site) and right down the road was Laurelville with a grocery and great options for dining. Highly recommend!!!
This was our second stay with Phil and the crew...stayed in Cedar cottage last year and stayed in the Hitching post this year... Both cabins were very clean and well taken care of. Can't wait to get back next year.... A+++ as far as I'm concerned....
The cabin is fabulous. It is so quiet and peaceful. The area is very private and secluded. The town nearby has some very nice places to eat and the grocery store has everything you need.
The cabin is just adorable from outside to inside! We loved the private hiking trails that led to the pond. Lots of fun was had feeding the fish everyday�
We liked how peaceful it was and really enjoyed some great family time. We like how convenient it was to everything.

We absolutely loved the Hitchin� Post; very clean, great location, beautiful layout and decor too! Stocked pond, fire pit, and hot tub were perfect evening activities. We loved the town of Laurelville.

We stayed at the Hitchin' Post for the second year in a row. I have been spending a long weekend each Jan/Feb in the Hocking Hills for over 20 years and Frontier Log Cabins has by far been the best! Its obvious they have put a TON of time and money into making the Hitchin' Post an outstanding, well-appointed accommodation. We'll be back!!

We absolutely loved the Hitchin' Post. Philip was such an accomodating, kind host. The cabin was so clean, well-equipped, and comfortable-- from the recliners to the fireplace, the comfy bedding and lovely scented candles. I especially liked the hiking trail and lake on the property as well. My friends and I spent our weekend baking cookies and playing board games together, and this was the perfect setting for it.
We came for a girls weekend and had an amazing stay. The cabin is super clean and comfortable. We had a great time! Will definitely be back!
Nice trails, stocked fish pond, owner gave information about the area. Rooms are very clean and we loved the hot tub.

Very serene setting, with great firepit and hot tub to enjoy in a private environment. The cabin was filled with beautiful log furniture and creature comforts of home. The bed was excellent!! We visited Ash Cave and Old Mans Cave which was only minutes away. Rented a pontoon on Lake Logan and had a great ride. Overall the area is filled with a variety of attractions. Everywhere we went people were very friendly and helpful.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. All the bedrooms and beds were comfortable and the linens were nice and fresh. They provided all the necessary items for our short stay which included hand and dish soap, dish brush, tissues, toilet paper, etc. That was an unexpected major plus. The kitchen was stocked well. We loved that it had a fireplace and they provided the firewood. The owner was very pleasant and helpful when we checked in. We felt safe being near the main cabin.
Short but sweet. Close to Hocking Hills for hiking. Hitching post met all our expectations and then some.
Phil and his team does an wonderful job providing a clean and peaceful place. The flowers and candy - a special touch that makes guests feel very welcome. The space at The Hitchin Post is roomy and very comfortable. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We were so glad that we chose your facility to stay. It was so nice meeting Teresa and Mike and being able to understand their love of the property through the History. The cleanliness of our cabin far exceeded our expectations and by far one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We spent our days relaxing and fishing at the beautiful pond and our evening at the fire pit and relaxing before bedtime in the beautiful hot tub. We will definitely recommend it to all our friends and are making plans to return ourselves.
