The ample deck with plenty of chairs & table space. Satellite TV for enjoying football games. Kitchen with amenities. Welcome improvements include: sponge for kitchen sink, soap for showers, aluminum foil/plastic wrap, bowls with lids for extra food, bedside tables for bedrooms as some seem to be missing from previous stays.
Always such a comfortable place. Room for kids and adults to have their own space, for people to be watching TV, doing puzzles, going hot tubbing, and playing video games all at the same time. Well appointed kitchen for a rental, plenty of dishes and silverware. Huge porch and lovely fire pit. We'll be back!
Very spacious, the owners were very easy to work with. We had absolutely no issues with our stay. There is plenty of dishes and cookware that we had plenty, that we did not have to run the dishwasher every couple hours.
This cabin is BEAUTIFUL. It is exactly what you picture when you want to plan a weekend away in Hocking Hills. The cabin was extremely clean & tidy. The kitchen was fully stocked & plenty of towels in the bathrooms as well! We loved the game room and hit tub and the driveway had plenty of parking spaces for a medium size group. We had a question regarding the TV (which was really no big deal) and the owners were ON IT & had it fixed in no time at all. Wonderful service!! Would definitely return!
annual family get together - ended up with one of the children breaking his arm unfortunately but otherwise was a wonderful trip
The Hickory Hill Lodge is beautiful! There is plenty of room for a large gathering. The kitchen is fully stocked that is if you want to cook. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be back. Thank you!
We stayed for 4 nights with 9 friends And I can say this I will be back as soon as I can 1-10 rating its 11 Comfortable beds Clean cabin Nice view Had every kitchen supply that we need Me and my friends already planing for round two
We had a multi-family vacation and very much enjoyed this home! There were many small town attractions zip lining, hiking, petting zoo for all ages just a short drive away. We enjoyed breakfasts and crafts out on the covered porch, pool and arcade games in the evening and loved that we could all fit around the large dinner table. The hot tub and fire pit were a plus as well. This home is well kept and clean and worked well for our varied age groups.
Hickory Hills Lodge was a home away from home. If your looking for a relaxing get-away, this is the place to go. Beautiful, impeccable clean, and all the necessities are on the premises. Awesome place!!
Our trip to the Hickory Hill lodge was a welcomed getaway from the day-to-day. We had a minor issue at arrival, but the owners took care of everything we needed right away. The cabin is as advertised, plenty of seating on fine leather couches, big screen TV's, satellite TV, billiards, arcade, hot-tub, fire pit with firewood ready. My son was married in the Hocking Hills area so we had family in from all over the country. Hickory Hill Lodge was perfect! First of all it was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the towels were fluffy, the hot tub was fresh and hot and the common areas were large and well decorated. If you are looking for a large cabin with lots of amenities, Hickory Hill Cabin will not disappoint. It was very clean, had lots of bedrooms, pool table, video games, corn hole, fire pit, etc....everything you would need for a great weekend in the woods.

We booked our stay at Hickory Hill Lodge to celebrate our parents' 50th Anniversary. The lodge and the caves around the area offered the perfect atmosphere to relax and spend time together with three generations of our family. Hickory Hill was ultra-clean, cozy, and inviting! I have taken my son and his friends to Hocking Hills every year for the past 5 years. It has become one of their favorite trips. The cabin we stay at is a big part of the experience, and Hickory Hill Lodge hit the spot! It's large and beautiful. 6 Bedrooms, all with real beds, no fold outs. The porch is amazing as it the seating both inside and out for large groups. Julie was awesome in handling our reservation. Super sweet and helpful. The only thing I would suggest be improved is the wifi. 6
Hickory Hill Lodge is a wonderful facility. Everything was as promised. They advise guests that all they need to bring is food, ice,firewood and personal items is a true statement. Anything else you need is there! I got all the credit for picking the place and how great it is, and I thank Hickory Hill Lodge owners and staff for that. Spent the weekend at Hickory Hill Lodge. The family room and kitchen area are large and comfortable. The outdoor, wrap around deck is amazing. The kids LOVED the downstairs and the arcade game and pool table. Hot tub was also a big hit. Everyone asked to come back again next year. Highly recommend.
We had originally reserved the Pine Hill Lodge, to celebrate our daughter and future son in laws engagement with both families staying together. There was an incident that happen the day prior to our visit with the Pine Hill Lodge. Julie & Jason went above and beyond to get my family the vacation we were looking forward to. they emailed me, texted and called until they got a hold of me. when we seen this cabin instead of the one we initially rented we were amazed at the beauty and spacious room

Absolutely delightful space. Well laid out, airy, and filled with light. The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed, with a new dishwasher, and the washer and dryer were new as well. Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Everything worked easily and as expected. Hickory Hill Lodge exceeded our expectations! The open concept inside had plenty of kitchen, dining, and living space. The large outdoor, covered deck is a game changer and is one of the reasons we chose this cabin over the other cabins were considering. We stayed in this cabin this past weekend for a bachelorette party. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and all amentities/appliances worked as they should have. The staff responded immediately with questions and were very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice getaway for any occassion.
Hickory Hill Lodge is a comfortable place for a large group. We had four couples and plenty of space. Loved the deck, availability of hot tub, pool table, etc. Nice big living room and kitchen/dining area. A couple of the bigger folks felt like they sunk too much in the one living room couch. Only thing I could mention as a potential improvement.
First time in hocking hills with entire family. The cabin was perfect. Fully equip for family cooking and fun. The cabin was laid out for people to be able to spread out or hang out together. The wrap around porch and out door space where beautiful. We will be back. Thank you!
This is our third time in this specific cabin and we are grateful for all of the amenities, the comfortable and clean space, and for time away from the city. You will not regret making a bonfire at night or sitting on the porch with a good book and a hot drink. Thank you for your hospitality!!
Awesome cabin. Clean, big enough for large group, comfy beds and plenty of towels, dishes, silverware. Quiet and peaceful. We usually find a new cabin for our annual girls trip every February but think we will book this cabin again next year. Had everything we needed. The owners were super prompt and easy to work with.
We all were very impressed with the beauty and space of the lodge. 4 grown couples & 4 children and there was so much room no one felt crowded! There was also so much to do , not only in the area , but in the lodge itself. A lot of time was spent on the beautiful wrap around deck! We're already talking of visiting again! This cabin/lodge exceeded my expectations. Our children and grandchildren could not have asked for a better experience. The only item I would add to the home would be an extra full size refrigerator .

We loved the complete kitchen and all that came with it. It was clean and the bedrooms were so accommodating! Everything was in great working order. This is the second time staying in this lodge and once again I couldn't be happier. As soon as you pull in you are hit with utter beauty of not only the house but the scenery that surrounds it. It was very easy to get into the house and the house was very clean when we arrived. Everything we needed was provided. From pots and pans to silverware, to cups, towels and so much more. Hickory Hill lodge was beautiful!! Everything we need for a weekend get away. The arcade game was a hit.
The Lodge itself is beautiful and quite large enough to accommodate the 15 people that we had there. It was clean and provided lots of living space for gatherings in groups and also separate, smaller gatherings. It had a huge open central area and also lower area where there was a pool table, a washing machine with two dryers and two bedrooms. It wasnt even a video game for kids to play! That opened out onto a back porch where the hot tub resides. We made good use of that! It was well stocked with towels, toilet paper and things to prepare meals. It even had a dishwasher, which was a lifesaver! I would give it an overall rating of very good to excellent for location, decor and amenities.

Our family of 12 spent Labor Day weekend here and had an amazing time. The lodge was beautiful, clean and we all loved the huge deck! We made a ton of happy memories playing corn hole, pool, lounging in the hot tub and relaxing at night on the deck together. We would definitely do this again!

When we decided on going to Hocking Hills I just browsed the website looking for lodging for 16 people. I came across the Hill Lodging Co site and felt Hickory Hill met our needs. It looked big and spacious for all of us. Close proximity to what we wanted to do. The lodge was very spacious, clean and had lots of amenities and kitchen accessories. The deck was fabulous for grilling and relaxing. We enjoyed the nice hot tub. And we enjoyed the fire pit. The customer service was great! Unfortunately we had 2 small plumbing issues and Julie/Jason responded right away. I would recommend Hickory Hill to others. WE had a GREAT summer weekend getaway during this crazy 2020 Covid pandemic! Thank You!

Close drive to many caves we suggest Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls yet secluded and private so you can experience you own separate wooded space. And the layout works well for couples and families - two bedrooms on each of three levels, all with a queen bed and a couple with bunks added. Our favorite feature of this gorgeous property was the massive covered porch. Our group gathered there most of the weekend - sharing meals, listening to tunes, playing cards cornhole. We appreciated the WiFi as this isn't a feature for the state park cabins. Several in our group played the multi-game video console and used the pool table. TVs on two levels were great for watching the Buckeyes game on Saturday. The hot tub felt great after a hike in the woods. We ended evenings with a campfire around the fire pit. Plenty of chairs for all. We would love to come back and stay here again.

We loved it so much we asked if we could rent it an extra night. i would definitely recommend this cabin. my Daughter and son in law plan on spending their honeymoon in Hocking Hills although this cabin is too big for the two of them we will plan on looking into renting from Jason & Julie in the future.
