We had a great time and were close to all the trails, and close to places to eat. Chilled in the hot tub and had a fire. We are already planning the next stay.
Cabin was clean, comfortable and great communication with hosts
Plenty of room to relax, plenty of room in kitchen for cooking, and great location for easy access to trails.
We loved the fireplace and the dollar game (super cool and fun surprise). We also loved the extra large refrigerator to accommodate the excessive amount of food we brought! The kids enjoyed the hot tub. I appreciated the variety of cooking bowls/ pans/ utensils that were available.
Location. Since there is no place for what I didn't like, I'll add it here. The hot tub has only 2 jets that work. The bedspreads could certainly use updating. We hand washed most of the dishes before we used them because the inside of the dishwasher was gross. Not sure if it is mold or just dirty. I would not recommend this accommodation unless updates were made.
Overall the cabin was lovely and had a great layout..the bed & furniture were comfy, the TV, Grill, Fireplace and Firepit were nice...there were adequate supplies...I felt that the hot tub was pretty aged, all the jets didn't seem to be functioning as they should. Some of the things we look for when we come to HH are good quality linens and kitchen supplies, a nice hot tub, some adult fun --like pool table, darts ect...NO SPIDERS...NO trail camera's to watch us...just some suggestions :)
Perfect location. Private and comfortable. Bring bottled water if you mind well water. Only complaint was that the downstairs had too many large wolf spiders. Killed half a dozen or more every day. Love the gas fireplace and hot tub.
We enjoyed the isolation and peacefulness of overlook cottage. Very clean, comfortable bed, quality appliances.
location and layout of cabin
There was plenty of room for our girls trip. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights and had great fun playing games at the kitchen table. The cabin was close to trails. This was our first time to Hocking Hills-absolutely beautiful!
Spacious interior. Comfortable beds. Enough room for 6 adults to have their own space when needed. Peaceful surroundings. Movie options. WiFi available. Various hiking options nearby. Hot tub had plenty of room for 6. Catch and release pond was fun to fish. Great place to relax with family.
The cabin was clean and beautiful . It was so restful and homey. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Friendly and accommodating staff. Two nights is just not long enough. We will definitely be back.
Friendly staff when making reservation. Cabin was clean and spacious with all needed kitchen items for basic meals. Basement is a little damp but nothing a dehumidifier wouldn�t fix. Hot tub was enjoyable and is literally in the trees. Loved listening to the birds while sitting on the deck. We appreciated the firewood for sale on site. We definitely will be back!
Our cabin was very clean , the location is great and very private. We have stayed multiple times at Harvest Moon Cottages and always have a wonderful time in the beautiful cabins.
Loved the beautiful cabin and its surroundings. Very clean, lotsa windows overlooking the forest. Cozy living room with gas fireplace and comfy couches. Pretty close to all major trails. We will be back!
Cabin was clean, neat, well equipped, and extremely comfortable! The staff was very professional and attentive when we needed something.

The location is nice with beautiful views. There was enough space for our family, and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We appreciated the games and puzzles provided for us.
Overlook was very well equipped with what we needed. The decor and style were so comfortable and inviting. Having a dishwasher was extremely convenient. I am so glad that we chose it for our sibling reunion.
This was the perfect comfy place for a family to stay with thoughtful accommodations and a very clean home. Hot tub was great, and my kids loved being able to watch ROKU during our down time. Be sure to grab some firewood for the pit outside!!
Short weekend trip with adult children and their significant others. We used the cabin as a base for hiking and activities. It was clean and nicely located within the park.
We stayed for two nights. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire ring outside. The indoors was very cozy and comfortable. Everyone slept well!
