Love the hot tub and the quite surroundings
We stayed at the Getaway Cabin. It is a private location and dog friendly. It was very cute inside. We enjoyed the fireplace every night.
The cabin was beautiful, it was nice and secluded and really helped me unwind for a few days.
Stayed at "Getaway Cabin" . Super clean and very quiet and secluded. We were celebrating our 47th anniversary. It rained pretty much the whole stay the cabin made the up for the weather. My husband and Emma (�)got to enjoyed one of the trails on the property. We definitely plan a return trip in a dyer time of year.
Clean , comfortable, central location
"Off-the-grid" feel. Just what we were looking. Ate in one night and had dinner in Logan the other night. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking.

Our stay at the getaway was a pleasant stay of course it wasn't long enough but we did have time to unwind, which was our goal. Our stay consisted of sleeping, eating, watching movies, hiking and reading. I will definitely be telling my family and friends. Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant.
We have had the pleasure of staying in The Getaway cabin twice now and are returning soon for a third visit. The cabin is very secluded and a great place to go for a romantic time away. The hot tub and fireplace add a pleasing ambiance to help relax and unwind. It's not too far from the local attractions or town, but we find that just spending time away from it all has been the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway Cabin at Aspen Ridge Cabins. It was plenty big enough for our family of 6 and our little dog Lucy. If I had to state a negative, it would be the sleeping arrangements. Two full or double wouldve been better then a king and a twin upstairs and a king in the down stairs. But we made it work. There was a problem with the heat but was quickly fixed the next day. We would go back for sure. We had a great time spending time together without being on elect
Our stay at the Aspen Ridge Getaway Cabin was awesome! We took a family long weekend there and we all enjoyed the cabin, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Great getaway for us all! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We will return again for sure! Thank you for the use of your cabin, we all had fun.
We stayed at the Getaway cabin. Its the most secluded, which is exactly what I want in a cabin. The cabin was very clean upon our arrival. It is perfect for 4 adults but possible to accommodate 2 additional children in a twin bed also in the loft. It is laid out well with an open floor plan. We loved being able to have a real fire and not a gas fireplace. We brought several boxes of Duraflame logs because most of the time we enjoyed loafing around the toasty fireplace. The hot tub was GREAT too!
The Getaway is where we stayed and it certainly was. Almost entirely off the grid, minus the digital tv with over 500 channels. At any rate my wife and I and our little girl (8lb one year old yorkie) had come visit for a couple day getaway for her birthday. It was our first time in the area, specifically for Hocking hills hiking and such. Getting there was slightly difficult as the iphone/google maps didn't take us to the proper area. We stayed at the Getaway for my husbands birthday and we absolutely loved it It was so quiet and peaceful and everything was really clean and felt like home. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace and enjoying the hottub. Our kids enjoyed the loft and loved that even in a cabin they could watch PJ Masks . We also really loved being able to bring our 4 legged family member. Thank you so much and we will definatelt be back.

My husband and I came here for my birthday weekend with another couple. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. Felt like a true getaway and was so relaxing. Loved the hot tub, fire pit, lovely living space and secluded woods. The place was emaculate...so clean and I'm a huge neat freak. Lovely kitchen with appliances too. We will definitely be back to the Getaway cabin at Aspen Ridge and would highly recommend it! Can't wait to vacation to this peaceful place again soon!
We had so much fun on our 3 day "Getaway" to Hocking Hills and your cabin, we only wish that had found it sooner and invested in a cabin for our children and their future. The cabin was the perfect backdrop for our family to escape everyday life, the Internet, and social media to connect with each other in a beautiful nature setting. Our family enjoyed our stay very much at the Getaway cabin. The cabin was just as stated. Everything was clean and well kept. The cabin was very private and the setting beautiful. It was so nice to sit on the porch and listen to the songbirds sing. Our favorite thing was the little bird who would tap on the window each morning as if to say "good morning- time to get up". We will definitely be back!
We had a great time staying at the Getaway cabin. Beds were very comfortable! Nice to have the grill and fire pit. I wish the lighting was a bit brighter in the bedroom and dining area, but these are minor quibbles. Ohio really needs to improve on their road signage, though. Very confusing to drive until you get to know the area.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Getaway Cabin. No other cabins in view, just trees! Quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was great, able to have a fire in the cabin, and TV with DirecTV for those interested in that. The cabin was clean and had all the necessities. The washer dryer combo really came in handy. Pets are allowed and there was even a dog bed (which my dogs actually used!). We could let the dogs off leash outside with no cabins nearby as we didn't worry about them wandering to another cabin

My girlfriend and I had an amazing weekend at the Getaway Cabin. The open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and cozy fireplace were exceptional! We loved every minute of our stay! But because this is a review and tool to help you outhers have the best experience, there is always room for improvement! The overall cleanliness was below average..especially the bathroom. The tub and shower were pretty gross. The towels and robes were faded and tattered from excessive use and washings..and we had no toilet paper! The grill was very bad..it is falling apart and in very poor condition! It should be replaced immediately! But like I said, we had an amazing time and would come back again!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our three night stay at The Getaway at Aspen Ridge. The distance from the other cabins made it a perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful New Year's weekend. The cabin is beautiful and clean, the wood burning fireplace and hot tub are wonderful amenities and the furniture is very comfortable. The hiking trails on the property were also very nice. The only drawback that we found was the lacking kitchen supplies. (basic pots/pans and cooking utensils such as stirring spoons, spatulas, cutting knives are sparse, so meal preparation was a challenge and there was little in the way of drinking glasses) The property owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions that I had. If I were planning another trip to the Hocking Hills area, I would certainly stay again at this property.

The cabin was very nice and the outdoor area was excellent. My one suggestion would be to replace the bath towels. They are fairly worn and dingy looking.

It was our first time in the area, specifically for Hocking hills hiking and such. Getting there was slightly difficult as the iphone/google maps didn't take us to the proper area. In fact, it took us through a small town to get to the general location. I would definitely heed the directions from the owners rather than that. We got lost, quickly because the first encounter with feathers road didn't exist. Also a large amount of the road signs run parallel with the road, even when a new road is coming up on the left or right; which is very frustrating and easy to miss...a lot. The cabin was beautiful, nicely kept. No stores are within an easy 20 minutes, so pack for the time spent. No close restaurants either. There's a place for fire pit and plenty of dead-fall if needed. The hot tub was pleasant as well. They had tons of movies available; a bluray even. The owners were always a phone call away if needed, and we utilized them. Would definitely recommend to others. The water is well water; so it comes with the iron-y smell and taste. Loved it. Would totally do it again. Very nice to get away. Heed all helpful hints and warnings from the owners; specifically on directions and driving.
