Quick Overview: Located on 18 secluded acres - Adult Only - Fully equipped kitchenette - Private deck with fire pit + soaking tub - Heating + A/C - 15 min to Lake Hope State Park - 30 Min drive to Hocking Hills State Park or Athens, Ohio Detail: The Cocoon is a 30O sq ft dome with 14� ceilings. Inside you will find a loft with a queen size bed (which requires a short climb up a secured ladder), living area and fully equipped kitchenette. Your private bathroom is located a short walk away and has a shower with rainfall shower head, toilet and sink/vanity. The spacious deck is outfitted with a BBQ grill, seating, firepit and a soaking tub. Amenities: We provide tons of extras so you can pack light. All linens/towels are provided. You will also find coffee+tea/honey(local),creamer, 1/2 dozen local eggs, spices, oils and condiments in the kitchen. Local shampoo bars and body soap are provided in the bathroom. (An extensive list of what is provided and amenities will be sent 10 days before check in to help you pack light.) WIFI: We do have Wi-Fi (though no cell service) but we strongly encourage guests to disconnect during their stay at Rooted Domes. Here you will find a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just BE. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surrounding forest and indulge your senses with an array of engaging activities to enhance your stay, including games, puzzles, coloring books, musical instruments, yoga mats, and much more! Other Guests: There is a second Dome on the property and the domes are orientated for the most privacy. The domes/guests share the parking area, the pathway to the site and access to the creek and forest. Please observe a quiet time (low music) between 9pm and 8am so everyone can enjoy the sounds of the forest! .

The dome was so cute and everything was so well thought out and perfect! The bed was super comfy!! We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be back!!
Absolutely loved our sty in the cocoon dome! Very private, beautiful, nice accommodations and unique touches which we enjoyed, like musical instruments and record players, tub under the stars, beautiful bathroom facilities and much more!
There are too many personal touches to list. Seeing the stars while falling to sleep did it for me.
We had a wonderful, quiet relaxing couple of days in the cocoon. My daughter loved all the games and coloring and exploring she could do and I loved being able to sit still and read in such a beautiful, comfortable place. I was looking for a unique experience and this was it!
I loved how freeing the location was, it feels like you have a plot of land all for yourself (given we didn�t have to share any spaces since the other dome wasn�t booked during our dates!!) It was so nice to just be present and make homemade meals and put a record on and do �nothing�. Highly Recommend!!!
