Noon - 3 pmPower 105 and 970 WATH are excited to announce the 26th Annual Chili Bowl Cook-Off to be held at the Market On State at 100 E State St., Athens. All proceeds from this years Chili Bowl will benefit Hocking-Athens-Perry Community Action Food Center. The deadline for entry is October 8th. The competition is divided into two divisions Professional, which includes all restaurants and food services, and Amateur, which includes home or civic recipes. Each chili entry will be judged and a highly coveted Silver Ladle will be awarded to the winner in each of the three categories Hot Spicy, Mild Tasty and Vegetarian. There will be a Judge's award and a People's Choice award. Music provided by the Sufferin Moses Blues Band.
