Overview

Bittersweet Farm is located on a remote country road, surrounded by hills and forests and peace. They are close to many state parks, wild life areas, Ohio University and many other popular Hocking Hills area attractions. The cabin is fully furnished, equipped with hot tubs, outdoor gas grills, outdoor picnic tables, fire rings (firewood provided). The cabin has two covered decks, beautiful custom made woodwork on the interior, a full size bath, kitchen facilities with stove, refrigerator, microwave and inside dining areas. Bed and bath linens are provided.

The Christmas Cabin, a great family cabin, is also equipped with a gas log fireplace, sleeps up to 8, has almost a 360 view of the beautiful southern Ohio hills, lots of lawn space and direct access to a stocked fishing pond.

2 Bedroom timber frame log cabin in a private wooded setting of mature white pines with expansive lawn areas and panoramic views of southern Ohio's hills. This open concept living area cabin has a well equipped kitchen, gas log fireplace, an indoor dining tables, exterior picnic table, hot tub (4 person, available year round, gas grill on covered porch. Fire ring w/fire wood provided. Linens and towels are provided. This is a great family cabin with direct access to a private fishing Pond (no license needed, bring your own bait and tackle). All you need to bring are your personal items and food for a great time!

We loved how everything was set up for us to just relax. Hot tub chemicals on point, firewood covered and dry ready to use, chairs for around the bonfire, pokers for hotdogs s'mores available, gas grill with utensils, kitchen with essentials, towels, and there were even some boardgames. We just had to pack our cloths and stop grab few groceries. The views were beautiful. The area secluded. The drive in was scenic. The cabin itself was rustic and charming. The mattresses were soft.

The cabin was beautifully decorated and it really felt like someone took the time to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The furniture was all very comfortable, as were the beds and the blankets. The setting was perfect and we really loved being able to sit outside and watch our kids play in the pond. I loved the classic appliances which really aided in the overall feel of the cabin. My kids were begging to stay for longer.

The property is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is very cute. The cabin could use small window units for upstairs bedrooms specially for summer months and the hot tub could be a little more heated. The hot tub when we stayed was locked and set at 85 degrees.
