Overview

Big Pine Retreat is a group of 6 Cozy Cabins situated on 40 beautiful wooded acres in the heart of hocking hills. Located only 4 miles from Old Man's Cave, all of our cabins are privately situated and nestled in the trees, providing an amazing getaway experience. Our property is bordered by state forest, allowing for hiking access to 21 Horse Cave, Chapel Falls and Airplane rock. The rock formations and outcrops on the property are really spectacular. We also have 3 lovely hiking trails on our property, all right outside your door. We offer one, two and three bedroom cabins. Each cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, and central heat and air. Private Hot Tubs, wifi, gas grills and Satellite TV are some of the other amenities you will find with Big Pine Retreat.

The Loft is a cozy and secluded cabin that sleeps 4. The cabin is tucked away on a private 4 acre setting and is situated nicely into the woods. The Loft features a fully equipped kitchen along with a gas fireplace, Wifi, hot tub and gas grill. We provide your linens and towels in addition to soap and shampoo. You will love the rustic and relaxing experience that our cabin offers. The Loft is minutes from Boch Hollow and all the main attractions in Hocking Hills.

Excellent Stay

This was the perfect little cabin for my husband, son and I. My 7 year old was so excited about hunting for and hiding the Connor's. We cooked all of our meals here and found everything we needed in the kitchen to accommodate this. The beds were comfy. The cabin was very tidy. The hot tub was crystal clear and very nice after hiking all day. The location was close to everything but very private.

The simplicity and peace at the cabins are what we look forward to. Just being able to relax with my husband, soke in the hottub and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors but still being only a short drive to all the necessities you'd need. It's a great place to relax forget your worries and unwind from the chaos of life. My husband and I have 4 kids so a trip to the cabins for our anniversary is our new tradition. It's where we spent our honeymoon and one year anniversary. Can't wait for next year

It was cozy and we had everything we needed. There was a campfire, hot tub, grill, including all of the supplies we would need to use those. Would definitely come back!
