The Pioneer Log Cabin at Evergreen Place
is a real Appalachian hand-crafted log cabin. This Log Cabin was built in
the 1860's, carefully deconstructed, moved
to the Hocking Hills log by log, then expertly
reconstructed. After the main timbers were in
place the cabin was
refinished where necessary preserving the
natural patina and beauty of the original
woodwork.
The result is a luxuriously appointed and
comfortably furnished log cabin full of old
world country charm. |
