May 2, 2015 9:30 - 10:30am The Wayne National Foresta?Ts Wild Weekend Discovery Series is a great way to discover the positive and negative ways that humans affect wildlife. Come explore the amazing world of humans and wildlife at the Nelsonville Historic Public Square, near the start of the Little Cities of Black Diamonds Council Tour de Forest Benefit Bicycle Ride. Learn all about how certain activities humans take part in shape the natural environment for the local flora and fauna. We will have a small lesson and discussion on wild animals and plants, mixed with a take-home craft for everyone. Bring your children and enjoy this free fun-filled educational program that is designed for preschool to 5th grade. If the seats fill up quickly, we may have an additional session at noon. This activity will be outside, so it is weather dependent. Make sure to give us your phone number when registering. We will call you if the event is canceled.
