Start your morning with a hardy breakfast prepared on an antique gas stove. Eat breakfast outside as you listen to the many critters who wake up and start their day.

Then hike down a peaceful trail to your very own private 60 foot waterfall. Check out the natural "bath tub" formed from hundreds of years of running water. Or just watch a raccoon family as they start their morning.

Waterfalls Spring   Waterfalls Winter
Relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, or explore the many caves and rock formations surrounding the valley. Then refresh yourself with a drink of spring water as it flows out of natural sand stone along the side of a hill.
The rest of the day can be spent enjoying the many attractions in the Hocking Hills:
  • Old Man's Cave (just minutes away)
  • 7 State Parks
  • Horseback riding
  • Fishing at Lake Logan, Rose Lake and on the Hocking River
  • Many restaurants & cuisines in the area
  • Boating on Lake Logan
  • Golfing at several golf courses
  • Several antique and craft malls
  • Natural Rock Bridge
  • Tecumseh Outdoor Drama
  • Hocking Valley Scenic Railway
Returning to the cabin, you can spend the rest of the evening on the gazebo or in the 7 person hot tub looking at the stars through the sky lights as the soft lights surrounding the gazebo set the mood.
