| There is something special about every season in Tranquillity. Spring brings comfortable, cool
weather...and birds - thousands of them - to nest in our oaks, elms, pines and blossoming
dogwoods. Summer is alive with the sounds of birds, crickets, locusts, frogs...the splashing fo bass in the lake...and after dark, the occassional howl of a coyote and the hoots of owls. It generally stays mild throughout Autumn...a time when the hills take on colors you can hardly imagine...painted by the Artist of all artists. Winter is right out of a Currier & Ives engraving. The snow-kissed hills and trees shimmering in the bright sun, and the smell of wood fires in the crisp, pristine air tell you you're in a special place...a place to want to be. |  |
