Lancaster Festival 2008
July 17-26
The Lancaster Festival is an annual celebration of music and art. The 10-day festival includes concerts at Ohio University-Lancaster’s outdoor band shell, historic churches, The Decorative Art Center, the downtown Bandstand and in many other businesses. Beer, Barbecue & Bluegrass
Labor Day Weekend 2008
Join us as we kick off our First Annual Beer, Barbecue & Bluegrass Festival.
Shaw’s will feature regional barbecue food, Beer Tastings, a Home Brew Seminar & a country barbecue cooking class. There will be live music on Labor Day Weekend featuring local Bluegrass. Book a two-night stay with us at Shaw’s Inn (Thursday-Monday) and get 25% off your room rate for both nights!

Beer Tasting: Includes a mini beer lecture at 5:30pm on the different beer styles, Beer for Tasting, Beer for Sale, BBQ appetizers. $25/person, 5-7pm. Reservations required.


Friday, August 29:
Home Brewing Seminar
Learn more about home brewing or learn how to start.
Includes light appetizers and one beer per person. 5-7 pm, $20/per person.
Reservations required.

Saturday, August 30:
Cooking Class:
“Paula Deen’s Country Cook’n”
Menu Includes: Texas Beef Brisket, Warm Sweet Potato Salad, Mama’s Fried Cream Corn, Deep Fried Cheesecake. 10:30am, $40/person, Third Floor of Shaw’s in our Cooking Studio. Reservations required. Hotel guests get a discounted rate for class.

Sunday, August 31:
