After a sudden thunderstorm in Ohio's Hocking Hills State Park, the scene as Ash Cave becomes a minature of Yellowstone Falls. The large amphitheater of rock, usually an atmosphere for giggles and whispers across an echoing cave, is instead a pounding, exhilarating experience of sound and force. The falls themselves are a mix of water and sand billowing to the ground, an upside down mushroom cloud coating anyone daring to stand close in a layer of painted sand.
