The Pioneer
Log Cabin is a beautiful hilltop log cabin,
secluded on 160 acres of private woodland. Built by
a master craftsman who wanted to create a
comfortable but beautiful log cabin.
This real Appalachian hand-hewn log cabin,
was built in
the 1860's, carefully deconstructed, moved
to the Hocking Hills log by log, then expertly
refurbished. With solid
2 inch pine floors, Spalded popular ceilings and
walls, poplar, walnut, oak and pine beams,
custom built stairway and furniture this cabin
offers a visual feast of contrasting wood tones with
comfortably appointed country furnishings. |

conversation. This cabin is perfect for couples, but
also generously sized for families and friends.
