The Annual Ohio Exhibition

For 66 years the Zanesville Art Center has held an Annual Art and Fine Crafts Exhibition to promote and present the high quality work created by Ohio artists. Artists may enter any media except for film, creating a exceptional opportunity to see what is current around the state. Each year, the blend includes professional artists and faculty from the art departments of Ohio colleges and universities, art students, and passionate amateurs. This years juror is Lynnda Arrasmith, Curator of Collections and Registrar at the Canton Museum of Art since 1989. She designs exhibits and maintains the Museums permanent collection of over 1300 works of paintings, drawings, ceramics and sculptures. She has curated exhibitions of the works of Alice Schille, George Luks, and Clyde Singer, as well as Form, Figure Function, opening at ZMA November 6. Arrasmith is currently compiling a civil war exhibition that will be hosted in the year 2011.
