An Introduction to Water Bath Canning with chef Doug Weber.
Learn how to preserve the seasons harvest with basic water bath canning. Chef Doug Weber will walk us through all the steps to can safely at home. Each participant will take home a jar of apple sauce and a jar of apple butter, made with local Cortland apples from Hugus Fruit Farm.
This is the first in a series of cooking classes that are being offered as a fundraiser for the market. chef Weber is generously donating his time - all proceeds from this workshop will go directly to benefit the Keller Market House.
This workshop is offered on a sliding scale donation of $15- $60. Space is limited. Please pre-register and pay online or in person at the market.
