Full Moon Night Hike at Boch Hollow Preserve
May 30, 2015 8-11pm. Hike starts at Boch Hollow Trail Head. Come experience how the other half lives, the nocturnal half that is. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources- Division of Natural Areas and Preserves invites you to join us as we attempt to traverse the entire 3.5 mile trail system at Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve without lights. The moon will light our way as we discover the forest at night. Owls, frogs, coyotes and bats will be our guides through this unfamiliar world. Hike will start at the public trailhead, 7000 Beach Camp Rd. Logan, OH Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and remember temperatures can drop substantially in May after sunset. Trail can be rough, uneven, steep, and slick in some areas so sturdy footwear is a must. Bring a flashlight or headlamp but be prepared not to use them.
