Randall Thropp, Curator

Travis Banton and Howard Greer were Hollywood's reigning kings of costume when Edith Head arrived at Paramount in 1924. This new presentation from Paramount Picture Archive follows the Decorative Arts Center's wildly successful 2014 exhibition Designing Woman: Edith Head at Paramount 1924-1967.

Featured will be the lavish costumes of Edith Head and her contemporaries, Mr. Banton, Mr. Greer, Mary Kay Dodson and Irene Lentz along with dazzling jewelry from the Paramount collection. A handful of current designers will be represented as well - their costumes a testament to the enduring influence of Edith Head.
