Multi-platinum country star Jo Dee Messina, who has racked up nine 1 singles from her five Curb Records studio albums, will bring her new Music Room Series tour to Athens as part of the 2009-10 Ohio University Concert Series. The Music Room series tour is centered around Jo Dee's music and the stories behind hits like Heads Carolina, Tails California, I'm Alright, Bye Bye, Bring On The Rain and more. The stage will resemble the music room at her home where many of her popular songs came to life. The simple, acoustic performances will give concert goers a look the songs' selection process and songwriting that went into the records that fans have come to know and love. The show offers a unique and personal evening, centered around her music and the stories behind the hits.
