This event opens The First American West Frontier and Freedom in Athens County, a hands-on exhibit set in a log cabin inside the museum. This important new exhibit takes visitors through the pioneer experience of traveling to the Northwest Territory frontier, building a cabin, surviving in the wilderness, the vital daily chores, and what it was like to establish a community in Southeast Ohio. Refreshments by Purple Chopstix and wine will be served.
