Cooking from Ohio Farms Hands On Cooking Class
Aug 7, 2010 1030 am - 130 pm. We will use local produce from the Lancaster Farmer's Market. Fried Green Tomatoes with Local Corn Succotash Salad, Almond Sesame-Crusted Chicken with Mango Coleslaw, Fresh Peach Galette. Limit 8 students. Hands on Style. Bring a friend and you will receive 1/2 off your class tuition. Classes are designed and taught by Susie Cork, who is also the General Manager of Shaw's. Susie is a graduate of The Culinary School at Kendall College in Chicago and honed her skills at Chicago's top restaurants for 17 years, including Ambria of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. She also taught cooking classes at A La Carte Gourmet Kitchen and The Chopping Block Cooking School in Chicago.
