6-9pm Opening Night during Nelsonville Final Friday, regular hours 1-6pm Fri/Sat/Sun. Honey for the Heart - Puppet Parade.The best-kept art secret around is an art project named Honey for the Heart. Over the course of three weeks, Honey for the Heart welcomed Athens community members, Ohio University students and adults and children of all ages to an art studio on Carpenter street, where everyone collaborated to create giant puppets and balloon art. Artists in residence Patty Mitchell and Robert Lockheed worked with Wendy Minor, puppeteer Daniel Polnau and balloon artist Doc Hay on the project, which began in 2012 and aims to bring art and harmony to the community.
