Decorated with nature in mind, each room at Big Maple has a delightful nature theme and is comfortably furnished. All of the floors are random width pine. The living-dining room has a comfortable sofa and chair and dining area that seats 6 with interesting bird artwork & and bird houses.
To commemorate the original builders of the cabin, a Smith Family shadowbox hangs on the wall and includes items that were found in the cabin during the renovation. An entertainment center houses the television, stereo, DVD player and an assortment of games.

The fully equipped kitchen has dried herbs hanging from the window and stenciled walls. The counter is Corian and the handcrafted bead board cabinets hold everything you’ll need to prepare a meal—all pots and pans, glassware, wine glasses and utensils. A full size electric range and a full size refrigerator complete the kitchen. Located conveniently next to the kitchen is a closet that holds the washer and dryer.
 The bath room has hand painted vines on the wall and hummingbird artwork. The antique claw foot tub and shower makes this bathroom a wonderful place to have a long soak and enjoy the quiet.

Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious and has a beautiful knotty pine cathedral ceiling. There is a queen-sized bed and cozy seating area, as well as an antique chest, and a ceiling fan. Egyptian cotton sateen sheets and a 4” memory foam topper on the bed not only make this bedroom a wonderful place to sleep but also a relaxing place to read a book or have a cup of coffee. This room is reminiscent of sitting in a garden on a warm Spring day.

The second bedroom is an L-shaped room with a ceiling fan and has two beds (one full and one twin) and a chest. This room is great for children with an in the forest theme. An 8’ x 12’ high hand painted forest mural is the highlight of this bedroom. Throughout the room there are hand painted animals... an owl, a deer, a woodpecker, and a squirrel. Don’t forget your flashlight... at night there are glow-in-the-dark stars up in the sky on the mural! There are even squirrels sitting up on the rafters in the cathedral ceilings.
